You're not afraid of silence You're afraid of what silence brings up if you're constantly distracting yourself from yourself.

You might be surrounded by friends family co-workers But still feel isolated like nobody really sees you you smile you talk you participate But it feels like you're floating slightly outside the group like you're watching life happen from behind glass If connection feels rare, even when you're not alone, give yourself one point number nine You've stopped doing things that used to bring you joy that hobby You loved the walk you used to take the silly thing that made you feel alive gone You can't tell if you lost interest or if you're just too numb to care you tell yourself I'll get back to it soon, but soon never comes if your passion feels like a stranger give yourself one point Number 10 you numb more than you cope you scroll snack binge sleep Zone out you escape instead of engaging you deal with hard feelings by turning them down Avoiding them or drowning them out.

It works for a while But the feelings always come back if numbing has become your survival tool.

You don't trust yourself to make good decisions You worry you'll fall apart if you're left alone, there's a constant fear that if you start pretending to be okay Everything will collapse even rest feels dangerous if your inner world feels like a battlefield give yourself one point Number 12 you can't remember the last time you cried without apologizing You feel tears coming and your first instinct is to hide You say sorry while you're breaking you bottle up emotions because you've been taught there too much Or that expressing them makes you weak if crying feels like failure instead of release give yourself one point take a breath Sit with your score.

Let's break down what it means zero to two points You're likely doing okay, but stay self-aware.

That doesn't mean life is perfect It just means you're coping in healthy ways Keep checking in and don't wait until things fall apart to ask how you're doing again ask yourself What's helping me stay okay right now, how can I protect that three to six points you're functioning But you're caring more than people realize you're doing life showing up Maybe even smiling but underneath you're running low you're coping in silence And the risk is eventually that silence starts to break you down.

This is your chance to pause Breathe and say something's off and I deserve to care about that start small talk to someone write it out Give yourself room to feel again seven to nine points.
