Now I'm a full-time scuba diving technical instructor, specialized in technical diving such as cave diving, wreck diving, and deep diving.

I want to share the special healing power of the ocean to as many people as possible.

Hello guys, now we are at Ho Bi Hu fishing and yacht port, which is very familiar to all the scuba divers who have visited Kenting.

Everyone is hustling loading their gear onto the boat.

Why, you would ask? Well, that's because we're about to go on a boat diving adventure.

Here's a fun fact, the Hu in Mandarin means lake, but Ho Bi Hu is not a real lake.

It transforms into a lagoon when the tide recedes.

So, the locals joke about how the lagoon is just like a lake in their backstore.

That's how the famous lake, or we say Hu, got its name.

Ho Bi Hu is Nanwan's most important port because of the Kurosho Current racing by.

The water temperature remains between 22 to 30 degrees Celsius all year round, creating an ideal environment for coral growth.

The area is densely populated with various types of corals, making it a rare phenomenon in the world.

You'll be able to explore reefs, big fots, canyons and caves.

Not only that, you also get to witness all kinds of fish tornadoes.

Even though I've been diving for so many years in Taiwan, I actually haven't been to this spot.

It sounds like a spot for fishing through the ocean.

We're hopping on our boat from Ho Bi Hu to the nearest dive spot first, the mini Laogu Fault.

We will descend from above the rock and follow the fault lines all the way down.

Laogu is actually in Taiwanese and means coral, so loko means coral stone.

The highlight of this area is a rock pillar adorned with a dazzling array of hard and soft corals, creating a mesmerizing underwater spectacle.

From here, you can feel the current racing by carrying with it the energy and life of the sea.

The giant sea fans and soft corals all over the reefs thrive thanks to the currents.

Once we've reached the bottom, you'll experience the exhilaration of being surrounded by schools of fish darting between the giant rocks. What a thrilling experience.

On the other side lies another dive spot, the Twin Peak Blue Hole.

It features a sloping tunnel where two cliffs resemble peaks from a distance.

The limestone reefs sculpted by the waves, creating an underwater tunnel effect, giving rise to its name, the Blue Hole.

The Twin Peak Blue Hole measures 10 meters in length and can accommodate only one diver at its narrowest point.

Now we're about to head to our next dive spot, Naito Falls.

Naito Falls is the second-highest point in the world.

Because of boat diving, you get to dive in sites further away from shore.

And because of the greater depth, the terrain and ecosystem becomes even more diverse.

I love this dive site. The visibility is good.

You'll get to see school of fish swimming alongside soft coral.

Coming up next is the Crown Jewel Signature Dive Spot that becomes the highlight for many divers' trips to Kenting.

When we get to the diving spot, we'll tie the rope to the top of the bridge, which is at the very top of the sign.

This dive spot is a dive site with a great depth and a wide area.

Sometimes the visibility isn't very good.

So we've prepared a special equipment for this.

At the end, we'll be at the cockpit, so you can pretend you're speaking Chinese.

After an hour and a half, we finally arrive at the open sea area just outside of Chechen Haikou.

Before the dive, the dive master will debrief everyone about the trip, potential risks and activities during the dive.

Since this is my first time to be here, it's crucial for dive buddies to check each other's gear.

And Ryan, don't forget to bring me a flashlight, because we are going to explore a giant shipwreck sitting at 48 meters deep under the surface of the ocean.

As the beam of the flashlight shines, we slowly descend, and the enormous hole becomes clearer and clearer.

This dive spot is for experienced divers due to its strong currents.

It's recommended to visit once you've attained your advanced scuba diving certificate.

The LSD-191 Zhongzheng was a landing ship with a displacement of 9,000 tons.

It served as a flagship during Taiwan's former president,

Chiang Kai-shek, also known as Chiang Zhongzheng's, inspection exercises.

That's why people named the ship Zhongzheng.

After 52 years of service, the Zhongzheng was decommissioned in 2012 and sunk near Haikou by the Fisheries Agency in 2015, becoming Taiwan's 14th military shipwreck.

Wow! Here's the giant grouper in the cabin.

There was one moment when I felt as if I were a bold pirate looking for a long-lost treasure's chest hidden in the unknown.

It looks like she is welcoming our visit.

Let's just admire them from a respectful distance and avoid disturbing them.

The Zhongzheng's hull is broad and complex in structure.

After being submerged in the sea for less than 10 years, it has become covered in coral, serving as a new apartment complex for marine fish.

Divers enjoy exploring the ship's cabins where in the dimly lit passageways, the deep blue light filters in through the windows, creating a dreamlike and surreal atmosphere.

Zhongzheng is a sight for adventurers' heart.

The depth, the current, can often become an interesting challenge for divers.

I usually remind the divers that I guide to pay extra attention to their depth, bottom time, and restrictions, so they can ensure their safety while having a lot of fun diving this site.
