55 students from Washington state recently came to Taiwan for eight days of activities.

Apart from experiencing Taiwan's diverse cultures,

they also participated in a professional film and TV production course held in collaboration with Kainan University,

where they learned how to tell stories through film.

The students got to learn about reporting both on stage and behind the scenes.

In the virtual studio, the wraparound screen incorporates AR technology,

merging the digital and the real in an eye-opener for the students.

The college students are helping their juniors still in high school to film an actual video.

Yesterday we asked if any of them have filmed anything before, or if they've only used their phones, but this time we're using film grade equipment.

These US high schoolers came from all the way across the Pacific to experience the exciting film technology Taiwan has to offer.
