I'm taking you to three amazing steakhouses today.

And this is our first one, the Golden Steer Steakhouse.

It's in favor of Sinatra, Elvis, and Muhammad Ali.

I'm a big fan of Sinatra, so I'm happy to be here, stand where he stood.

So obviously we're here to judge the meat itself, the steaks.

I'm looking for a decent-sized cut, nothing too big, because we don't got a showboat.

The cook has to be perfect, so I'm looking for a sear on the outside, get that nice, mmm, flavor.

Also looking for the inside to be somewhat juicy, easy to cut, melts in the mouth.

And one thing that I think is obvious is that the steak has to be so good, I'm not putting anything on it.

Even if they're like, oh, we got our own, like, sauce and all things, it's not happening.

If I ask for ketchup at any point, you have to punch me in the face.

Salud, salud, my man.  I'm not a huge champagne guy, but I do like it.

Look, I like the champagne, but if that guy went into win points, it would have brought us a pint.

These are about to have two rum and diets.

I'm not just taking it here for the nostalgia factor.

We're gonna get a ribeye, we're gonna get a filet mignon.

That's how I would normally order my steak.

Oh, we gotta find out if they'll actually do a steak well done or what's like that.

I think technically well done is as far as most kitchens will go.

Someone posted a picture of their steak and they had gone for well done and just completely cremated it.

And someone replied saying, that's not well done, that's congratulations.

Well, I don't know you, but I'm ready for a steak.

All right, I got the filet mignon, you got the ribeye on the bone.

So you said you didn't want an enormous portion of meat earlier.

Can't help but notice the size of this steak.

I know, look, I wouldn't be upset if I got that.

I don't think I could put all that away and it would feel weird to take that home in a little bag or whatever.

Maybe it's just me, I want to eat all the meat and plate to feel like a man.

And I got a tiny tummy, I can't help it, whoops.

So this is more my speed than that, but that looks incredible.

I'll take a few bites, then swap over and see if you can- Sounds good.

Well, first I want to see how that cut is.

I mean, perfect, like it wasn't going to be perfect.

A little bigger of a bite than I want to take, even though I'm starving.

Yeah, I've got a chunk of steak here, but look at that.

Whoa, whoa, whoa, cut that in half, please.

Hey, I'm saying right now, I'm not giving you the Heimlich whenever.

That bite is him signing the liability waiver.

Temperature on the beef, cooked how we like.
