Noctics Level Up is a series that sets multiple challenges for us to take on and level up by growing and evolving as a group.

I'm ready to level up again. I came here to level. I'm ready to level up so hard.

You know every time we do this show we're basically grinding experience points.

I use so much of it. Every time they send me something I can actually use, I'm like, free calendar!

Oh my god, a pillow that fits perfectly in the small of my back. God, I love it.

So we're going to talk about the things that we like about merch.

And maybe after today's episode, it'll give us some ideas and hints to create our own merch in the future.

Let me think first, what's the first thing that comes into your mind when you think of merch that has been most memorable for you?

For Noctics, we get a lot of really nice art to go along with our merch.

I really liked our first anniversary art.

Yeah, for me, personally, if I had to pick for myself and then for Noctics, for me, the winter goods was really, really memorable.

Because seeing so many fans wearing an Alvin scarf was crazy for me.

But no, the one for Noctics I would say I like the most is actually our recent cat merch.

For me, that's my favorite out of the Noctics merch.

That one was definitely very memorable for me as well.

Because I remember you guys must have seen this.

Me and the staff just continuously going back and forth.

Me and the cat don't hate each other enough.

Making it look like he's trying to fight me.

He's literally like, I want to be very angry.

Four or five times until they finally said, that's as far as we're going.

And I was like, okay, you know what? It looks perfect.

Like anymore and, you know, animal services is going to be fine.

And I like that we got the plushies since it was kind of hinted at in our first anniversary merch with just the image of the plushies.

The memorable one for me was probably my first birthday merch.

And speaking of first, also just our first merchandise in general.

Like even though it was just, you know, it's our live 2D models and stuff.

It still made me think like, oh, this is like for real.

When we first started getting fans posting pictures of it on Twitter and everything.

I think one of the most memorable ones for me as well was the perfume.

The fact that we got to design our own scents.

I think for me that was more, I think that was one of the interesting things that I've seen.

Because I didn't know that that was something we would get to do.

Yeah, because I'm not sure how many other people have talked about it.

But yeah, it wasn't like they just assigned us a scent.

Like we straight up got to pick some of the ingredients and they turned it into a full scent.

I remember like googling for like hours, like what is a good scent?

Love them so much because then the fans take such pretty pictures of them as well.

Taking them all around the world and putting them in little adventures.

I remember when they came out with the tarot cards.

That was with Nijisanji and I like talked about it with people and I was like, I want them.

It's the major Arcana and I was just like very excited about it because I didn't think that people would do that.

So in addition to talking about merch from the past that we've gotten, we can definitely learn from current trends as well.

So our staff, they actually visited the Animate Ikebukuro store in Tokyo.

It's one of the largest stores of its kind in the world.

There's a lot of stuff you can buy there.
