I have a lot more time, kind of, than Ryuji does because he's going to work. Today is his first day and I was so sad like watching him leave because I was like, I felt like my child was going to school for the first day. So I just felt like nervous for him and everything because it's his first day. He's going to start working regularly, I'm still working regularly, I'm still a teacher.

The thing about being a teacher in Japan is a lot of companies don't give you a lot of benefits, you don't get any raises or anything like that. It's literally just a set salary and that is what you do. So, um, that's a downside about it but I think teaching pays pretty well here in Japan.

So, you know, I'm doing YouTube, that's part of my salary which is good because I feel like just teaching alone honestly isn't enough unless you live a certain way. So this is going to be a work week in the life. Today I have an interview and I'm going to go to the Tokyo Weekender magazine office and they're going to interview me today and it'll be interesting. I'm a little nervous but yeah, so I'm going to work out in a little bit, browse the internet a little bit, and get ready.

This is the situation right now because I washed all the dishes and they're all on the counter drying, air drying, and so yeah, sorry this is kind of not really what I expected to be doing.

America and yes you can order from America but it costs like $20 to ship. This is my protein yogurt,

I have acai powder here, my beauty balm from the Matcha Reserve Skin, Hair, and Nails, it's organa, maca powder, blueberry powder, and collagen. And then I have the seed blend which

I need to get more, I actually just ordered more of this, it's just like flax seed and chia seed and all that stuff. Frozen spinach, I actually freeze my spinach, I'm not sure if that's good or not but it keeps it, keeps it for longer because things get bad very quickly in Japan.

I have frozen banana, I have almond milk, and I have coconut oil. So I'm going to just mix that all up, blend it up, and drink it while I go and finish the laundry. So I know the color is like super super gross if it focuses, it's like a green-pink-purple but it's so good, it tastes like berries. I love it so much but I'm just gonna drink it right out of this. I finished, I am very late in the day already and I'm about to take a shower but this is our clothing situation. This is what you have to do in Japan, dryers are like $2,000 so we'll have to save up for that I guess.

Um yeah so this is what I'm wearing, jeans, a belt. Casual look is probably a good way to go for an interview. Just gotta put some lipstick on and yeah but I'm gonna make some lunch.

I'm so late today, I was gonna edit before I left but that is not gonna happen.

Just got done at Tokyo Weekender and they were so nice and the issue is going to be out in

November so I can't wait to get like the hard copy. They're also gonna send me one online so oh my god they're so cool. I can't wait to get to know them more and work with them more so yeah now I'm gonna head home and I'm going to get um some stuff to eat.

Super hot outside, I'm sweating. I didn't film in the grocery store because it was chaos.

I totally want you guys to know that going to the grocery store at night in Japan is big no except for the fact that things are a lot cheaper but if you can handle the crowds then you're good.

So they were out of lettuce so I got these like lettuce leaf things I don't know uh when you go at night that's another thing is everything is basically sold out. I got some mixed greens for my coconut curry tomorrow. I totally forgot tomato. I asked Yuji if he can go pick it up.

The joys of having somebody that you live with. Okay I got some peppers for like a snack. I'm weird, I don't know. Some meat that I'm gonna cook for the tacos. Pumpkin, I love pumpkin. Japanese pumpkin is literally the best. Almond milk, this doesn't have any known allergens in it so it's really good for people that are allergic to other things. So I got this and yeah I'm gonna put this in the fridge. I got some shrimp. I love that in Japanese grocery stores they have like these already made up carrots, onions, potatoes for curry. So this is like ready made for you in a package for curry so it's I think this was pretty cheap. This was like 300 yen for all of this so got that.

I got this taco kit. Now the taco kits are actually super expensive. This is like 600 yen for all of this. It comes with the seasoning, the shells, and some taco sauce. So I mean if you're craving it, it's good. Then of course I got my favorite yogurt, the partaino. Also if you don't want to use sour cream or you can't find sour cream in Japan, I suggest getting just plain greek yogurt for sour cream. It's healthier and it still tastes good. And then bananas of course, avocado and tomato, but that's not too big of a deal I guess. And that's about it so I'm gonna cook and yeah I'm gonna eat dinner. Taco night! Yum.

Good morning everybody, it is Tuesday. Yuji went to his work and I'm going to do a workout because I noticed such a difference in my mood if I work out. So I'm gonna cook some lunch and edit my video and I will probably study Japanese on the train. I have some flash cards on my phone already so. The dealio today is I leave at one o'clock for work and I get off at 6 30. My work is very unique in in the sense that I don't work as much as most schools which is super nice but my job is very active. It's like gym class so I'm constantly moving, lifting kids up, playing basketball, doing all sorts of like activities and that's something that's very different compared to other schools. I'm gonna be doing that and I'll be home a little bit later and yeah that's basically what

Tuesday is like and I go to a different school every single day so I like that change.

So after getting some editing done and making some lunch I head to work. I can't film inside the school so I apologize for that but basically I take the train to wherever I'm supposed to be that day and walk to school. Okay it is eight o'clock and I just got home. I totally forgot I was vlogging today. I rode my bike in the rain so I'm soaking wet. I picked up some things to cook dinner because I wanted to cook curry today and I'm gonna cook some frittucci too.

Yeah I just decided it'd be nice to cook some dinner and watch The Bachelor in Paradise together and yeah but I'm gonna shower and then I'm gonna cook.

This is cauliflower and broccoli rice. It's not actually rice but they call it rice to trick you into thinking that it's rice. Yay this looks so good. Baby what are we watching?

Good morning everybody. It's Wednesday now and today I'm going to work a little earlier around 12 and I just bought these nice new workout clothes. I love this so much. I believe it or not I got this on Amazon. I'm going to do some editing, I'm gonna work out, shower and then

Before I took a shower I decided to edit my next Kyoto vlog and I decided to make it very

ASMR. I guess like no music or voiceovers just because I noticed editing this video I just love the natural sounds. It's a very peaceful type of video. All right I am running a little bit late just taking these little granola snacks with me for the train and then I'm cutting up an apple for later and getting some Subway. Again I'm not gonna take my camera just because I'm going straight to work basically and picking up Subway so I'll show you guys what that looks like but other than that it's just going to work and coming back. So again we are going to watch

The Bachelor in Paradise because it's on two days in a row and eat our leftover curry for tonight and then tomorrow I have a meeting and a busy day so I will see you guys later.

So Ryuji and I have a monthly pass for our bikes so I parked my bike and then I headed to work.

Okay I'm home I'm making rice for Ryuji and I just washed the dishes. I bought some avocados and some toast and all that stuff. I am going to eat this rice though because I'm impatient and I'm hungry so I'm gonna eat this. It's like 168 calories and all these 25% cut it's just like a healthier rice I guess but it's not like that healthy since it's like microwavable but round two

Well I forgot to film my meal but I had some avocado toast and ham this morning. I woke up a little bit late so I'm kind of in a hurry eating a clementine, orange, tangerine, whatever you want to call it, yogurt, coffee and about to head out the door watching some YouTube and yeah. So today is actually not a work day. Today is like a task day so basically like every week we have something that we have to do whether it's at home or at the school or something like that so today I'm going to a meeting for a few hours and then I'm going to get some more contacts for my eyes and then I'm going to get Disney tickets because we're planning on going to Disney and then I'm heading home to go grocery shopping so there's a lot of stuff that's going on today. So yeah, come along with me.

Okay so I got my contacts and I'm heading to the Disney store now in Shinjuku to get some tickets for Disney for Ryuji and I. I'm super hot out but yeah that's about it.

Okay I'm home. I took out my extensions. I'm thinking of just taking a shower. I was going to work out. I'm still debating on that. Workout clothes on Amazon. These are so soft and comfortable.

It looks like another typhoon is gonna hit somewhere. Okay so I'm steaming some broccoli.

I just took a shower. Sorry my face is red because I just put on some moisturizer and stuff.

I just got news that a train about an hour, hour and a half away from me derailed because there was a truck that was stuck on the tracks and sadly the person that was driving the truck passed away and then a lot of other people were very injured in the first three cars.

Advice for you guys when you come to Japan. It's probably a good idea to you know get on the middle of the train or the back of the train because there's less likely to be any impact if the front of the train were to hit anything. Coconut curry, chicken curry round two. Added a little bit of rice because I really love this rice. We're watching my video. Go watch it now. We're so sleepy too.

Okay Friday. Hi, hello, good morning. Oh my god it's so sunny outside. So today is another work day.

Today is Friday and Friday I go to work around one o'clock. I'm going to get some Disney tickets for Ryuji and I and maybe look at H&M before I go to work. Every week, every day is different each week so I'm not in the same place at the same time. We have so many schools across Japan so a lot of schools are like that. So a lot of schools have other branches and places that you need to go and all that stuff. So it's my late day. I come back really late. I work till 7 30 so I get to work around 2 30. I prep my lesson and then work starts at 3 30. So the kids come around then and then each class is different kids. Yeah and then I finish at 7 30 and come home. So I get home pretty late like 8 30.

So our massive amount of shoes. Oh my god.

A stir fry tonight with some shrimp. Not a lot of shrimp. I thought I had more but I guess not.

They're super tiny like this. But lots of vegetables and a little bit of white rice and sriracha and kimchi and just lots of vegetables. That's what I need in my diet so.

Yuji got a new computer. Yay! It's so much nicer than the one he had. 2011. 2019. I don't know how long that lasted. Wow. 8 years.

But you changed things in that one a lot to keep it going right? Keep it going.

Okay it's Saturday and it's time to go to work because I just woke up. And Yuji's on his vacation. Not vacation. Day off. Saturday is just work so basically it's no vlog happening. Time to go to work.

Approximately 10 hours later. Oh whoa you put natto in there? I already ate natto. Oh my god. Yay.

Good morning everybody. So today. I'm sorry I look really really weird and my hair is a mess.

It's the sunniest brightest day after the longest night because I had a typhoon. We had a typhoon here and it was insane. It was like the worst typhoon I've ever been in in Japan.

I could not sleep. I think I got like a total of 1 or 2 hours of sleep. I don't know like I woke up at 10am now. I think I got like an extra 4 hours but.

So usually I want to end my video on Sunday. But I couldn't because we were filming for another video yesterday. I'll add some clips into this one to show you what we were doing.

I'm gonna check the TV about the weather. But last night was absolutely insane. I'll insert some clips from last night for my instastories right now.

So this typhoon was called Typhoon Faxe or Faxe. And basically we were the direct hit. So I did not imagine being in such an intense typhoon. I was awake all night. I was terrified and these are some of the clips that I got during the night.

Alright so there are some plastic things outside. I didn't really get a chance to check this out. But like there's just a bunch of like debris.

Oh shoot. Where did this pipe come from? That's broken. It kind of sucks because if it rains it'll rain on our clothes. Oh shoot.

There's definitely fell off. Look at that. It's still dirty but we don't really have anything to clean this right now. So oh well.

Alright we are cooking some salmon and making a salmon salad for lunch at 2.30pm.

I have salmon, avocado, a little bit of pasta, some cherry tomato, lettuce, cucumber, and then some herbs and pepper and salt. So yeah and then I added some lemon dressing on top.

I slept for 20 minutes. I couldn't sleep anymore. And I did this full body HIIT workout. It was 30 minutes. It was no repeat workouts. It was so good. I love this girl too. Heather Robertson is so good if you want like a full body workout. And I think I'm gonna try to stick with full body for a while.

I feel so good right now. I just took a bath and my hair is drying. Sorry. I'm just a mess today. But I'm watching the news. They're talking about the typhoon again and all the damage that happened.

And right now I'm just gonna cook dinner, eat dinner, and then lesson plan and then maybe just clean out my computer and upload my clips for my videos and stuff and just get things organized for tomorrow.

Yeah anyway I'm gonna make some chili for Yuji and I started a bath for him so he can relax and we're gonna drink a glass of beer together so.

Sometimes I do that when I don't have ingredients at home. I'll type in like what can I use instead and sometimes I have that at home you know.

So I'm gonna make two of these and then cut tomato, canned cut tomato, two of them. Because I wanted to make a big pot of it for the week you know. And I have crackers and I have some zucchini to put on top of it actually. It tastes really good.

And you can also put Greek yogurt in it which I love as well. And I have like I said crackers and yeah that's what it's gonna be today.
