I think I speak for all creators when I say that creating takes consistent passion, mental strength and long nights and early mornings.

It's exhausting, but a good exhausting, and a lot of people don't see the behind the scenes in how much effort it truly takes to put content out there for your entertainment.

When you start anything, you're always not going to know much, but we have to not allow the words, I don't know how, to keep us from doing what we want to do, right?

Today I'm headed to another part of Japan to film a three-day trip in both Nagano and around Nagoya.

I love these types of jobs because it allows me to show you more of Japan.

I also learn a lot more because I have a guide with me and opportunities to try new things I normally wouldn't even try.

This morning, I had a filling breakfast and did a live show before packing up and heading to the station.

This is literally the routine of a sponsored travel job.

So I usually write a short list of all the things that I need.

I don't need to check anything off, I just kind of like read it and then just grab it and put it in my suitcase.

I try to pack as little as possible unless I'm traveling with my husband, which I'm not in this case, and I don't want to lug too much around or have too much gear on when filming my adventures.

I usually pack on the day I leave or the night before and just follow my list.

I don't care much about my outfits either, I like to wear what I normally would wear if I go anywhere and not just do it for the gram, if you know what I mean.

I use a G7X camera for filming travel vlogs because it's easy to carry when I'm out and traveling.

I don't like to carry a lot of stuff unless I'm with my husband or something.

And then I also use the Canon M50, but it's a little bit thicker and bulkier than this one, so I prefer to use this one.

I think there's like a Mark III that came out too, so I don't know, but I really want a new one of these because this has been very loyal to me and I feel like it's getting a bit old, but this one's really good for a lot of sit-down videos.

I have two lenses for this and then I have a microphone for the top of this.

I've been doing them since 1000 subs and only pick and choose my battles because not all content is for me and I kindly reject the mail I get.

I send all jobs who are interested in collaborating with me my rates and media kit with my analytics.

My very first sponsor was a commercial about an eel restaurant in Japan.

I had to write and sing a theme song and it was extremely cringy.

After some meetings, planning, and understanding of the project at hand, I finished eating lunch with my amazing husband who took me to the station and I was on my way to Tokyo Station where you can take the bullet train.

I'm going to be honest, I haven't taken the bullet train in almost a year, so I was so confused finding where to go, I didn't remember a lot of the gates and numbers.

I always clarify with a staff member if I'm going through the correct gate not to be late for anything.

But yeah, this was a bit of a mind refresher.

I have so much anxiety right now because I haven't been to the station in a really long time and just looking for everything is just really, really complicated.

But I am standing here, I'm actually a little bit early, so like I have 20 minutes or so.

I got a little snack, some sandwich and a little dessert, but I don't want to eat too much because I'm probably going to get something when I get there.

The thing is, anyone can be a content creator if they wanted to.

Anyone can work with brands they love and anyone can do what I'm doing here.

But if you aren't mentally strong and don't have much patience for yourself, the work can be very challenging.

You have to learn to have fun with it and make sure you're being yourself in every single video.

Okay, so plan today is to go to the 7-Eleven down the street and get some food.

I actually have the worst headache, so I have to find headache medicine that I brought.

But I am going to go and get something to eat.

I think I'm just going to eat breakfast here in the room and get ready and take my time.

Tonight, I'm just going to edit my video, take some headache medicine and relax.

That's what's going to happen and tomorrow we're going to do a lot of walking and a lot of exercise.

Oh my goodness, this is such a business hotel.

This hotel is so business-y and the beds are like super low for some reason.

Ignore all the crap on the bed, but no, really, actually this is a very nice hotel and I'm not a very picky person.

I could sleep in the tiniest room and be comfortable.

It's just really interesting to see the different types of business hotels in Japan.

We have a seating area over there and a desk.

They also have this phone thing that I talked about in one of my videos called Handy.

You can use this phone if you're a traveler, someone that's coming from out of town, or actually out of country.

You can use this phone to make reservations, use Google Maps, it's just a phone that you can use.

And then it looks like they have some, oh, here's the coffee pot and the glasses.

It doesn't look like, oh, there's a fridge.

I have a TV and this is a very nice bathroom actually.

They really got a nice place for me, so that's nice.

And they have these things here, so you have to be super careful when you come out of the bathroom because there's a step here.

I'm obviously going to try to film behind the scenes as much as possible.

The thing is, when you go on a sponsored trip, you have a schedule, you have a strict schedule and you have to follow it.

There's certain things that you have to do, you have to interview locals, you have to showcase something, so I have to abide by that. 90% of this is my choice.

I chose to go to these places and some of them they picked for me, but they thought that I would like certain places and I agreed to it.

So we negotiated, we had meetings before this.

It's not like, you know, they just pick the schedule.

They ask me first what I want to do and how I want to do it.
