It's been 8 months since we met for the first time in person.

We had a long distance relationship since November 2018 and since then our lives have changed.

Now we live together in Japan, starting the rest of our lives, and we couldn't be happier.

There's nobody out there more perfect for me.

We haven't had much time to explore Japan together, so today we're going on a casual date in the city.

We're gonna show you our idea of a typical date in Tokyo.

So today we decided to explore some of Ikebukuro and Ueno, and first we're gonna go interior shopping.

We've been doing that a lot because we just moved into a new place and we're still getting more stuff.

So these are like some things that you guys can do on a casual date in Tokyo if you're looking for just regular normal things to do, not touristy things.

So yeah, I'll explain throughout the video what we're gonna do.

The first thing we did was get a welcome Spica train card used for traveling around Tokyo for those of you who are just visiting or even living in Japan.

I wanted to add this into the video because I know it'll make your trip so much easier.

You don't need to pay for a deposit for the initial card, which is what I did when I moved here.

But it's pointless if you're only here for a short time.

We went to the Ikebukuro JR East Travel Service Center to get our card and it lasts for 28 days.

Besides the trains, you can use it in certain shops, restaurants, game centers, and more.

This makes today a very cashless date in Tokyo, so I want to show you guys how it works. 3,000, 4,000, 5,000, or 10,000 yen.

Please note, after 28 days, it will be expired.

Okay, so we got our welcome Spica card and what's really cool is if you guys are traveling, they have this little pamphlet that tells you about the Spica card in general.

Usually, if you get a regular Spica card, you have to pay a deposit of 500 yen plus charging.

So you don't have to actually pay for the card, you just charge it right away.

And this lasts only for 28 days, like she said.

This is so cool because they have all the information of how to use the card, like right here, and how to use the machines in Japan, so you don't have to worry about it.

And then it says the prices and then where you can purchase this and everything.

So it's just how to do everything, even for like lockers and stuff.

Or like buying at the store, shopping in stores, getting on trains.

So if you guys are just traveling for like a couple weeks, this is like the best to get for trains.

They have a money exchange here, which is so cool.

Our first stop was Lumine Department Store.

Since we planned to look for interior goods or household items, this was a good place to start looking.

But we're so indecisive, so it kind of takes a while before we settle on anything.

So we're at Unico right now, and we're going to go shopping and look around.

Because they have lots of furniture here.

So yeah, let's see what we can find and we can buy some stuff.
