At this point, we've got a bit more normalcy in our lives.

Present continuous

This is the first time I'm doing a yoga class.

I've actually always done it on YouTube, so this is going to be a very different experience.

Hey everyone, welcome back to the channel.

Not only actually leaving the house for once, but going to my first ever public yoga class.

I am by no means a flexible person, nor do I do a lot of yoga, but a friend and client of mine was holding an event, so I'm off to participate with a few other friends.

Are you guys like serving alcohol right now?

Get what you want, take what you want, put away whatever you used.

That confuses a lot of Japanese people because they're not used to self-service.

I should just come here and work all day.

I don't know if I'm allowed to, like do you have to stay here?

Yeah, you just get a drink and you can stay.

So anybody can come here, they don't have to stay.

You don't have to stay in this hotel to come to the bar.

Anyone can come to the bar and eat breakfast, lunch, dinner.

Okay, Ryuji and I are coming here like on the weekend to like work, like study and stuff.

Because we're always looking for a place to like chill and work and eat and like, I don't know.

I feel like this is a great place to come.

If I take the rapid, there was no rapid this morning.

We're gonna do a yoga event with one of my clients.

And this is the first time I'm doing a yoga class.

So this is gonna be a very different experience.

A little self-conscious, but I feel like Alex is great at making people feel very included and very comfortable.

So we're gonna start with like a little bit of a warmup and then the yoga session.

And then after that, we're gonna be doing a little bit of meditation.

I'm really looking forward to doing yoga with you today.

You can sit where your bum fits nicely on the floor if you like.

You can lie together your heels like this.

And movement purges a lot of stuck emotions, suppressed feelings.

Even things like crying, screaming, deep breathing releases toxins from the body.

Because if we don't do these things, that suppressed energy can manifest into physical ailments or even manifest into different events, people, or experiences in our lives that may not serve us in the end.

Your heart, your mind, and your body is as one.

It's important, you know, for me to focus on the present moment and my emotions.

Your subconscious really knows the answers to why you're feeling tense, why you're feeling frustrated, why you're feeling off.

So throughout this, I kept asking myself, how am I feeling?

And to really listen while you do these self-practices gives it purpose and meaning.

After yoga, we all went out for lunch that my friend's now husband chose for us, which turned out to be amazing.

I loved it and reconnected with friends I haven't seen since the pandemic began, which was so comforting.

I felt like the last two years was such a blur, and that connection and making memories is so needed as a human being.

Okay, I haven't worn heels in like so long.

This wedding I'm going to is small to keep everyone safe, but we're feeling like a lot is going back to normal in terms of lifestyle, and it's been quite refreshing, I have to say.

But I was not prepared for what my role was at this wedding.

I didn't know if I was like dressed up enough.

Oh my gosh, this is like a dream like princess dress right here.  Wow, look how long that is.
