  • Paul, there′s been a flood of smart wearable devices this past month.

  • What sets this apart? Well, Microsoft latest gadget will focus on

  • tracking two key biometrics in your life: exercise and

  • sleep. The company hopes this move will help it stand

  • out of the crowd... and give it a head start before Apple releases its own smartwatch early

  • next year. Aptly named "Microsoft Band,"... the high-tech

  • wearable can sense your heart rate, GPS distance... and even your level of stress.

  • It will run on a single charge for up to two days... and work across iOS, Google Android

  • and Windows Mobile devices.

  • It′s already available in the United States but no word yet on an international release
