• assume: To act in a false manner to mislead others
• jerk: Someone you think is an idiot
• social: Involving activity with people, e.g. in free time
• excuse: To allow someone not to do (jury service, etc.)
• single: One run in cricket or a hit baseball
• wrong: Action that is harmful, unjust or illegal
• find: To become aware of something that is happening
• hard: Difficult to do; difficult to understand
• life: All the living things e.g. animals, plants, humans
• rash: Without much thought; done or acting too quickly
• time: Speed at which music is played; tempo
• meet: To provide something that is necessary
• man: Humans in general, including male and female
• circus: Shows with clowns animals etc. performed in a tent
• ring: A roped area in which people fight or box
• parent: Person's, animal's mother or father
• fan: To blow air upon a fire to make it stronger
• pediatrician: Specialist in the care of babies or children
• child: A very young person, between about 2 and 15
• help: To act to enable a person to do something; assist
• ready: Being likely or about to do something
• office: Room or building used for business
• baby: A very young child, who cannot yet speak
• elephant: Large gray animal with a long nose and two tusks
• jr: Shortened form of 'junior'
