ChilledCow is a YouTube music channel most known for their 24-7 video that plays non-stop lo-fi beats.
At times, the single video has upwards of 50,000 concurrent viewers.
But ChilledCow is not the only channel that has a 24-7 video.
There are tons of other channels following ChilledCow's lead, and many of them have gained massive followings and profits in the process.
In this video, we will discuss how anyone can set up a 24-7 stream, how you can gain a massive following by doing so, and why there may be a fortune waiting for you after you learn how it's done.
As an additional bonus, we will give you some ideas to get you started with your own 24-7 channel.
If you are interested in learning how money is made in the oddest ways, give us a sub, a like, and if you're really odd, a comment.
Now let's get to the ChilledCow.
With 5.3 million subscribers, ChilledCow is a pioneer in the 24-7 YouTube video niche.
Created by an unknown man named Dimitri, the channel has become the number one radio for beats to study or relax to.
Even Will Smith has taken notice of the cow, and he created his own version.
But with such popularity, one has to wonder, how do they run their video 24-7 without interruption?
The answer is...
O Bubble.
O Bubble is a service dedicated to providing virtual cloud servers to those who need them.
We know this sounds very technical, so we'll break it down in a moment.
With four different levels, Platinum, Sapphire, Gold, and Diamond, each plan comes with a guaranteed 99% server uptime, meaning that you shouldn't have to worry about your video ever going down.
Let's break it down in seven easy-to-follow steps.
Step 1. Go to obubble.com and sign up for a plan.
Depending on the level of quality, you will pay anywhere between $29.99 and $69.99 monthly.
Step 2. Wait until they contact you.
Step 3. Download AnyDesk.
AnyDesk is a free tool that allows you to access your virtual desktop.
Step 4. Follow the steps in the confirmation email to log in to your private server.
Once you log in, you will see your virtual desktop that looks like this.
The virtual desktop comes preloaded with OBS and Streamlabs.
OBS and Streamlabs are the top two softwares that allow you to stream to YouTube.
You can choose either, but we recommend Streamlabs since you won't have to do much to get started.
Step 5. Find your YouTube stream key, copy it, and paste it into Streamlabs.
Step 6. Set up your video and background, and music.
You can use a stock video that is copyright-free, or make your own.
You can use services like EpidemicSound.com to source premium music that is copyright-free.
Make sure in your settings you click Loop so your video plays over and over.
Step 7. Click Start Streaming.
After you click Start Streaming, your stream will be live on YouTube.
With your channel now set up, it's time to look at ways you can start making money.
24x7 channels have an upper hand to regular channels because they run non-stop.
For those of you who don't know why this is important, let's take a look at the requirements to become a YouTube program partner.
YouTube requires channels to have 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 hours watched before they pay you for your content.
If you're a new channel, it's hard to reach those requirements.
But if you have a 24x7 channel, you always have people watching your content, meaning you will rack up hours watched and subscribers quicker.
The quicker you do that, the quicker you'll be YouTube partnered and YouTube paid.
But there are other ways you can make money besides the YouTube partner program.
If we take a look at the Chilled Cal channel and go to their 24x7 video description, we can see there are several different links.
One link that caught our eye was the link to their merchandise store.
Because they were using a Bitly link, we were able to see how many people clicked their link.
And to our surprise, they had 452,758 free clicks since March of 2018.
Even if only 1% of people bought something from their store, at an average of $20 per order, they would have made $90,000 in free money.
Let's look at another channel titled FlareTV.
FlareTV amassed over 2 million subscribers by hosting a 24x7 video of a subscriber count battle between PewDiePie and T-Series.
At the end of the stream, over 116 million people viewed their video, and thousands of people donated to the channel.
That's right. People donated their own money to the channel, even though the video was nothing more than a battle of which channel would reach 100 million subscribers first.
Crazy, right?
We wanted to get in on the 24x7 fun, so we thought of 5 different 24x7 channel ideas that you can try out.
1. 24x7 Self-Motivation Channel 2. 24x7 Stock Market Watch Channel 3. 24x7 Bible Verse Channel 4. 24x7 Cute Dogs and Puppies Channel 5. 24x7 How-To Slash Tutorial Channel
In a specific niche.
We recommend testing different things out.
You never know, you may become the next FlareTV or ChilledCow.
If you guys liked this video, please be sure to leave a thumbs up, subscribe to the channel, or stay odd forever.
