I can't believe a year has gone by It went by fast, didn't it?

Yeah.

I mean I feel like With Ruka's first year it went by fast but for me personally Micah's first year was like a blur like in the blink of an eye I swear I turned this way and I looked over and boom.

He was like one year old Yeah, I think it's cuz we've been so busy like taking care of two kids And we don't really have time to like focus on like every little milestone that Micah goes through.

I know it's kind of unfortunate Yeah, right because I with Ruka you're watching every little step of the way like, oh my god, you know, he just smiled Oh my god, you know, he just started crawling.

I know and then with Micah you're just like, oh, yeah.

Oh now he claps He's crawling now It's a little sad, but you know, I think with us Last year, you know people were telling us no two under two.

It's gonna be tough You know right now Ruka's two and a half years old Micah's a year old But a lot of parents are telling us, you know, it's gonna be hard.

So, you know, it's just all ready for it I was bracing myself, but And it's not really just it doesn't end like after two it doesn't After two and I think that's what I realized and a little bit naive on my part was I thought that after Micah turned one things were gonna get a little bit easier now, of course, you know Micah is sleeping through the night and those sleepless nights are kind of behind us now and we're actually getting a little bit more sleep Than we did last year But I feel like we're dealing with new set of challenges now.

Yeah that I wasn't really anticipating Do you feel that way?

Yeah now that Micah he's more active and you have to like watch over him constantly or else like he gets hurt Yeah, and then like that day like he got a little cut on his eye Yeah, it was like right before his birthday party and I was like, oh no, of course yeah, you're constantly like Monitoring him making sure that he doesn't fall And cuz Micah is very different from Ruka Ruka is like one of the one of those types of kids were like he lets you Every second what he's doing and he's loud and he's like vocal and Micah's the opposite very quiet But also very adventurous and fearless, you know So you keep moving around all the time and that's why I have to keep an eye on him all the time And that's what makes it hard because he's quiet.

So you don't really like know what he's doing.
