Hello everyone! My name is Sunnyfall and welcome to the channel!

Modal verbs - B1

As one might expect by my avatar and my name

I am a huge fan of the Warrior Cats series, and I have been for over a decade now.

Recently I decided to take on a pretty big fan project for the series.

Over the course of this year, I planned and outlined a series of 7 books

Rewriting the Power of Three and Omen of the Stars arcs

into one arc that I've named "Paws of Stars."

It contains altered character arcs, a changed ordering of plot points,

and entirely new plot points as I go further into the series,

and different identities for the more magical elements of the Dark Forest, Starclan, and the powers themselves.

The first book, Rising Tides, came out at the end of September.

Thankfully this particular book took most of the pure plot points from the original text:

So I got to focus on learning to write each of the characters in the way I wanted to

(And, honestly, learning to write fiction too since I hadn't done much of that before this project).

But the point of this video, and this channel in general,

is based on the realization of just how long it takes to produce writing

and how much I wanted to talk about the canon Warriors series I love,

and what parts led me to this huge, likely three or more year task.

I estimate several months will be needed to complete each subsequent book.

And even when I do post them I don't want to fill up the comments or Notes sections with analysis

Sometimes even unrelated to the canon material I'm drawing from.

I hope to post every other week and discuss a different Warriors topic in each video

This schedule won't replace my writing of Paws of Stars in any way.

I will still keep up with the writing for that series at the speed I had originally intended.

Today, I am releasing a video about the Power of Three arc as a whole,

explaining broadly what the good things and faults are about the arc that drove me to rewrite it alongside Omen of the Stars.

In future videos, I may cover particular characters, plotlines, fandom perceptions, or threads of lore in the Warriors universe.
