  • Welcome to my Hong Kong adventure series, part numero one

  • where I will basically be showing you what I've been doing for the past 2 weeks.

  • At the end of June, I flew from Canada to the wonderful city of Hong Kong.

  • What was the first thing I did when I got onto the plane?

  • Pig out, of course.

  • By the time they dimmed the lights, I had already put on my face mask

  • and made myself all nice and comfy.

  • And yes I know, I have a million things on my desktop.

  • I am back in Hong Kong now!

  • I miss the nice and sleek Hong Kong airport so so so so so much.

  • The moment I stepped out of the airport, I was immediately greeted by

  • heat and humidity.

  • You know you're in Hong Kong when you see this the moment you leave the airport.

  • The next few days consisted of catching up with family, friends and

  • it was basically eating, eating, and well..

  • more eating. Then add some shopping in there and that basically sums it up.

  • I was also testing out some new camera lens.

  • Doesn't that quality look glorious?

  • You gotta do the upper angle. Like the, side face.

  • Guess who this is? / I am Nicole.

  • I am Sherry. I hope they know that!

  • I'm taking over so you're never seeing Sherry on her channel anymore. It's just me.

  • So right now we're at Lost.

  • It's a maze game.

  • Usually, I wouldn't advise anyone to go to this maze game with somebody you just met for a few hours but,

  • we're rebels.

  • We're here today because I read a magazine and we couldn't think of where to go yesterday.

  • Basically this place called Lost provides you with various scenarios

  • in which you have to use your brain to escape a pre-set maze within

  • a limited amount of time.

  • I know this is quite popular in Canada so I figured I might as well try it while I'm in Hong Kong.

  • We came out. / We came out?

  • Oh no, she let us out!

  • We didn't know how to escape so she helped us.

  • Oh, I'm the best. / Easy job.

  • I am...

  • Sherry really likes to eat mango so we're going to go eat mangoes. / Yeah!

  • We're only eating mangoes. We're not eating desserts.

  • Wait, we're eating straight up mangoes?!

  • No no no. / Oh!

  • This magical mango dessert place is called...

  • We ordered a bunch of different desserts

  • which is strange because we didn't even have dinner yet. But,

  • I went out for dinner afterwards with my family members

  • and then we went for another round of desserts

  • but this time, it durian.

  • Another day, I drove to Lau Fau Shan, which is an area famous for its oysters.

  • There were literally walls of oysters there.

  • Then I walked through the seafood market

  • and saw THIS. Look at that.

  • And of course you cannot forget food.

  • A bunch of different dishes were ordered but surprisingly, none of them were seafood.

  • The reason was because the chef said that the water levels were too high that day,

  • so they couldn't harvest any fresh oysters.

  • I also bought some souvenirs and look at that beautiful dried mango!

  • Another day, I visited the Hong Kong Wetland Park located in Tin Shui Wai.

  • This park is a conservation park.

  • That day, I got to see a couple different dragonflies

  • and I couldn't film any of it, obviously, because it was too small.

  • But basically, there weren't much to look at that day because

  • I don't know whose genius idea was to go on a day where it was 30 something degrees outside

  • and it was ridiculously hot and humid.

  • But, it was really nice to go to this park because

  • it's a nice getaway from the busy city life of Hong Kong.

  • I managed to capture this by pointing my camera at the binoculars.

  • Look at those camera lens. Those are epic!

  • Hello, today I'm shopping with Sherry in Causeway Bay.

  • We literally walked around for so long.

  • Yeah because we were trying to find a dessert place to eat at. It's so hot.

  • Hello~

  • We just finished out food. We're going to see if we can go to... / PMQ!

  • To be honest, we're going to go there and see if it's any fun. If it's really crowded, we're just going to leave.

  • I really want to see it because I've never been there before.

  • Yeah and earlier...we really didn't do much.

  • We ate dessert... / we were chatting. / for a long time.

  • There were 1,600 little pandas at this PMQ exhibition.

  • There were also many boutiques and shops, as well as art galleries you could walk around in.

  • But, we didn't stay for long.
