You would think at this point, we would have talked about everything that Shohei Otani has done because it seems like he has done everything.

It's as if he hit a new milestone every single day.

But once again, the unicorn for the Angels has proven that we are not worthy.

Last night, Shohei Ohtani delivered again and he might be having one of the best month ever by any major leaguer.

He continued his hot, June Otani struck out 10/6 and a third innings and he also went three for three with two home runs.

It was the first time Otani has homered twice in a game in which he's pitched by the way, he leads the majors in long balls with 28.

He became the sixth player in 130 years to hit two home runs in a game and strikeout at least Then batters.

He's the first American League player to do it in 60 years' when Pedro Ramos did it in the 9th, 1963 with Cleveland back when they were the Indians this month,

Otani has 13 homers, seven doubles, two triples and 26 RB I in 24 games.

He is also stolen four bags on the mound.

He has a 3 to 6 earned on average with 37 K's and five starts.

Otani left his outing with the crack in his fingernail but thinks he exited before it got too bad.

He exited while being serenaded with MVP chants from the Angels faithful.

Hard to argue that Otani isn't the best in the game, the best in the NL West hosted the best in the A L East at chase field A on Tuesday and the Diamondbacks made yet another statement in their 2023 campaign.

And according to d'backs manager Tory Lovullo, it came as early as the first inning the bats, well, they were ready.

Jean Segura was also activated off the IL and it appeared Sandy Alcantara Maeda return the vintage reigning Cy Young award winner Alcantara.

That is Jazz Chisholm Jr who was sidelined with turf toe since May 14th went three for four with three steaks.

Chisholm Jr missed 39 games with a toe injury but despite the absence, he didn't seem to have any risk.
