Prince Harry is getting candid about his reason for publicly airing his concerns about the Royal Family in a new interview with "60 Minutes".

The Duke of Sussex is set to sit down with Anderson Cooper in the CBS interview, which airs Sunday, to discuss his highly-anticipated memoir, "Spare".

In a preview clip, Prince Harry says he was forced to go public because of stories being planted against him and his wife.

You know, the family motto is "Never complain, never explain", but it's just a motto.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have faced a great deal of criticism and admiration since their exit from the Royal Family.

More recently, the couple denied that doing the Netflix six-part docuseries "Harry and Meghan" is contradictory to their decision to step back from their Royal duties.

But in the preview, Prince Harry maintains his stance on deciding to air their concerns publicly.

When we're being told for the last six years "We can't put a statement out to protect you", but you do it for other members of the family,

The interview is also set to discuss the loss of his mother, his childhood, and family life, and living in the UK versus now in the US.
