  • Hi this is Rob at artforkidshub.com, and I've got my awesome little kid with me...

  • boy: Chucko-Bot 9000!

  • What was that?

  • boy: Chucko-Bot 9000!

  • Chucko-Butt? Is that your new nickname?

  • boy: Yeah.

  • Ok, that's going to be hard to remember. Chucko-butt 9000...

  • boy: No, Chucko-Bot.

  • Chucko-butt.

  • Chucko-butt. boy: Chucko-Bot!

  • But I like Chucko-Butt better...

  • (laughing)

  • Well, you ready to draw? You ready to draw a picture?

  • boy: Yeah.

  • What are we going to draw today?

  • boy: A cupid!

  • What in the world is a cupid? Do you know what a cupid is?

  • boy: It like hangs from the sky...

  • Hangs from the sky? (laughing)

  • It's like these weird angel things that fly around, and have bows and arrows, right?

  • ...and they shoot people with their arrows, and what happens if they shoot someone with

  • their arrow?

  • boy: Umm...

  • You have no idea? They fall in love.

  • They fall in love. That's part of Valentine's Day.

  • (laughing)

  • Well, are you ready? Should we draw one? They kind of look like weird babies with wings,

  • and they've got bows and arrows. It's going to be awesome.

  • You excited?

  • boy: Yeah.

  • Ok, Let's start. You ready?

  • boy: Yes.

  • Good. Ok the first thing we are going to do is draw

  • its head. His head is going to be a jelly bean shape.

  • Like this. Wow, that is a weird shaped head!

  • The chin is like really short, and the head...

  • ...It's got a giant brain.

  • boy: It looks like a brain that's got 2000 long...

  • What? Ok, you do it.

  • Ya weirdo... (laughing)

  • What is that? (laughing) It looks like a banana. Alright...

  • Ok, so here we go. Two little eyes.

  • (laughing)

  • I don't think we're going to get through this video.

  • Whoah, why are they clear up there? (laughing) It's going to be a scary cupid.

  • Alright, his nose. So, ok, you've got his nose. Now let's do

  • his mouth. This is going to be a scary cupid. (laughing)

  • A little baby tooth. (laughing) Oh man, and then color it in.

  • Oh man, I got tears coming out of my eyes I was laughing so hard. boy: me too!

  • Ok, and then some eyebrows on your banana head. (laughing)

  • Mines a pretty weird shape too. (laughing)

  • Now we're going to do a raindrop shape for his body, or kind of a raindrop shape.

  • So it's going to come out like this, and then a big butt, and then like that.

  • Go ahead and try. (laughing)

  • You've got a banana head, and a hot dog body. (laughing) Alright, let's do his wings.

  • Alright, so his wings we'll do one line up like that. Kind of curled.

  • And then we're going to do his wings, and they are going to look kind of like bird wings

  • with little bumps on them like this. And because we don't have a pencil we can't

  • erase that line, but that's ok. Good job! Perfect dude.

  • Ok. Now we're going to do another curled line up like that. This is going to be his other

  • wing. Ok, and then some bumps for that wing.

  • Ok. Yeah... that works. (laughing)

  • Ok. Let's do some other feathers inside his wing like this.

  • Can you do that? Good job!

  • boy: It's like two M's together.

  • A lot of M's. Yep. It looks good. That's good. Good job. Perfect.

  • Ok, now let's put... he's going to wear a diaper, so we're going to put a contour line

  • around his waist like this. Good job.

  • boy: Cupid needs a diaper. (chuckles)

  • And then we're going to do a bent line. So this is going to be his arm, and then his

  • elbow like that. Good! Perfect!

  • And then... this is going to be his hand and so we're going to do that kind of funny 6

  • for his thumb. Perfect. Good job.

  • Ok, and then a line that comes around, and then back in like that. Almost like a circle.

  • That goes around his thumb, and that's his hand so he's going to be grabbing something

  • like that. And then we're going to do this other bent

  • line for his arm that comes up like that. Yep! Good job.

  • Ok, should we but the bow in there? This is going to be a small little bow.

  • Let's do a curved line like this, and a curved line like that.

  • So it looks like he's hanging onto the bow.

  • boy: It looks like he's hanging onto a string.

  • Yeah, a string. We're going to turn it into a banana. It looks like a banana... like that.

  • boy: It looks like he's going to eat a banana in his mouth.

  • (laughing) It does look like he's sticking a banana in his mouth, huh?

  • Ok, and then we're going to draw a line that connects like that, and that's going to be

  • the string for the bow. Yeah. Go ahead and do the string.

  • Perfect... perfect! Ok, now we're going to do another bent line

  • like this. Like that. This is going to be for his other arm.

  • Yeah, good job. Ok, and then a circle but don't connect it

  • so we can do his other arm. Good job. Ok, now let's do the other side

  • of his arm, and his elbow like that. Good.

  • And then we're going to do a straight line. This is going to be his arrow that he's hanging

  • onto. Ok. Good. Good.

  • And then do a couple lines like this. This is going to be the back side of the arrow.

  • It's kind of like a bunch of V's. Yeah, good job.

  • Ok, you've got it? And then, now we're going to do a heart for

  • the arrow head. So you draw half the heart like that. Then

  • you draw the other half of the heart like that.

  • Yeah, it's kind of hard. If you wanted to you could turn your paper like that and draw

  • the heart normal, but you did it! Good job.

  • Ok. Now we're going to draw his legs, alright? So the first leg we are going to draw is going

  • to be bent, and kind of down like that. So he's flying so his legs are going to be

  • up in the air. Yes. Perfect.

  • So his other is bent like that. Yes. And then his foot is going to be shaped like

  • that. Good.

  • Wow, that's a huge foot! (laughing)

  • And then we're going to put some toes because he's barefoot. We're just going to put some

  • toes on there like that. I just did four toes. You could do five but

  • sometimes it just gets too crowded. Good. Good job. Perfect.

  • Now we're going to do another bent line like that.

  • Like that?

  • Yep, it's legs. That's where they come out of right?

  • And then his other bent line like that, and then his foot like that.

  • And then you can close his leg with a contour line.

  • Yep, perfect. And then toes. Of course he needs toes. Four

  • toes. And that's it! Look at that!

  • You drew a cupid with a banana head. (laughing)

  • boy: And a banana foot...

  • ...and a banana foot, and a pickle for a body! (laughing)

  • Or a cucumber, or a hot dog. You know what, Chuckers, that is an awesome

  • drawing. I love it!

  • It look like I want to eat a banana

  • Yep! (laughing)

  • Did you have fun drawing it? I had a lot of fun drawing with you today.

  • Alright, should we say goodbye to Youtube?

  • Bye, YOutube!

  • Bye, Youtube! See you later. Happy Valentine's Day.

  • See ya.

  • Bye bye.

  • Bye.

  • Bye.

  • Give me five! Pound it!

  • (laughing) Ouch. Watch out for my bandaid man!

  • And watch out for our banana!
