  • Hey, this is John Stamos.

  • We're on the set of our promotional shoot

  • for "Big Shot" season 2.

  • Check it out.

  • [UPBEAT MUSIC]

  • Season 1 of "Big Shot" was all

  • about bringing Marvyn Korn, played by the amazing John

  • Stamos, into this world of Westbrook,

  • and trying to see how he could be

  • a better man by being around all these amazing young women

  • and women.

  • Marvyn Korn, certainly in the beginning,

  • was a completely different man than he was

  • at the end of the first season.

  • I mean, you know, I started out a guy who was extremely flawed.

  • He learned what it was to be a father.

  • It's sacrifice.

  • It's giving up the good of yourself for your child.

  • And you don't get a trophy, and you don't get a ring, you know.

  • But at the end of the day, you get a better, smarter,

  • more loving version of yourself.

  • Everything you guys do in this gym and out affects all of us.

  • Where we're going is anything but normal.

  • And so this season, I think he's

  • kind of mastered a little bit of the rough edges.

  • He's kind of sloughed off some of the bad parts of him.

  • And now he's kinder and gentler, more loving, more caring,

  • but still has that Marvyn Korn edge.

  • So season 2 is more about how he is a part of what we're

  • doing, instead of being the outsider

  • going, "RAWR!" the whole time.

  • They came into our school.

  • It's not fair.

  • You know what I love, is when he gets

  • so upset that the little vein pops out

  • and he starts stuttering.

  • It's DNA.

  • It's a female empowerment show.

  • We have female-forward stories all the time.

  • So we're really zeroing in more on that.

  • I had a lot of mentors in my life like Coach Korn.

  • That's why I like playing one.

  • Now I'm becoming one to the younger people around me.

  • But I had an acting teacher in junior high school.

  • His name was Mr. McGuinness.

  • I credit him for really saying, go for it.

  • What are you-- don't--

  • who cares-- don't put any obstacles in front of you.

  • You want to do it?

  • Do it.

  • I had an amazing teacher when I was in third grade.

  • She taught us Swahili.

  • She taught us about African American studies.

  • And I was a kid in East Cleveland.

  • And she kind of opened up the world besides my neighborhood.

  • And so, Miss Elizabeth Clark was an amazing inspiration

  • in my life.

  • I will never give in to fear.

  • You don't always have to be the strong one.

  • It's family.

  • It's inclusion.

  • Unity.

  • And in its core, it's about heart.

  • And that's all coming back this year.

  • What you are as a person is more important than what

  • you are as a player.

  • Do you have any idea how complicated

  • this is about to get?

  • Why are boys just the worst?

  • [INTERPOSING VOICES]

  • --and just continue to rip my heart out.

Hey, this is John Stamos.
