  • In the heart of Tokyo lies one of the most sold-out themed cafes, a cafe that I was so determined and excited to go to.

  • And it's based on one of the hottest tv shows on Netflix.

  • Can you guess it?

  • That's right.

  • Stranger Things.

  • And I'm ready to head straight into the Upside Down with you today.

  • We're at the Stranger Things cafe today. I'm so excited to be here because it's so hard to get tickets.

  • So excited that I get to go here, it's like 8 pm right now because that was the only time we could get.

  • I'm gonna go inside and enjoy the food and the atmosphere.

  • This cafe is in collaboration with Pronto Cafe in Tokyo.

  • And when we walked in, we were blown away by the aesthetics, the decorations.

  • Every corner represented a scene from the show, and the music was a playlist of well-known 80s hits.

  • You can actually watch scenes from the show on the monitors scattered across the ceiling, which was pretty cool.

  • When we walked in, we had a choice to order whatever we wanted from their selection on the special menu, which had things like Demogorgon roast beef, pasta, Elle's favorite waffles, Surfer Boy pizza and the Upside Down cream soda.

  • We were able to choose three collectible buttons from a box and take a seat.

  • We opted for the Surfer Boy pizza and I got Nancy's Halloween party mocktail, and my husband got the Upside Down cream soda.

  • Although the ice in my drink was almost like (a) dry ice and aggressively popped everywhere, which was kind of funny.

  • Each space had its own story from one of the previous seasons and my favorite was the living room scene where Joyce communicated with the lights with Will from season one.

  • What would be my song (to save me from Vecna)? Comment down below.

  • Husband: ABC song.

  • You can freely walk around, take photos, film and just enjoy the atmosphere and I gotta say, going at night really set the mood.

  • Tickets are extremely hard to get. To where people are flying across Japan just to experience this cafe and the buttons we got actually are being sold online as collectibles for up to $30 a piece.

  • I know. The hype is real here.

  • If you live in Japan and you have a chance to have a ticket to the Stranger Things cafe in Tokyo, you won't regret it.

  • I was impressed with the entire experience but it's only here for a limited time until the beginning of September, so get your tickets soon.

  • And even if you couldn't go, I hope you enjoyed going virtually.

  • Comment down below your favorite season, character and scene from the TV show.
