  • Okay, so right now we're at God, which is the train station to get onto eurostar because we're going from paris to London today, we're actually here pretty early.

  • Train time is at 4 13 and we're here at 13 hours, three hours.

  • But it's a beautiful station.

  • I mean from the outside it looks gorgeous, it looks huge.

  • So if I try to find something to eat, just kind of see where our platform is and all that and explore the place a little a Yes, here we've seen this in paris when we were in the city and everybody is walking around with sandwiches and they're gonna look really good.

  • I saw his ham and cheese.

  • It's pretty classic in France to have that I guess.

  • Or in paris, but they also have like this chicken sandwich, that candy, so that looks good.

  • And also lots of yummy pastries.

  • Okay, so I ended up getting the ham and cheese, which they called limb IX which means mix and the quality is really good on the ham and cheese and the bread too.

  • And then candy, got the grilled cheese or grilled chicken sandwich, uh tomato and lettuce, chicken is very moist.

  • It's not dry at all.

  • Okay, nice.

  • So this is called the city.

  • It's on the lower level of the train station and they have all sorts of chips and stuff that you can get ah and like beer drinks, all sorts of sandwiches snacks.

  • So yeah, you need to get some snacks, you can stop by here These cookies, €5 have some coffee.

  • Got Arizona iced tea.

  • So we browse around the train station a little bit before entering the eurostar area because I guess it's like a different area like you have to go through the passport and security check and all that and we couldn't even go in until a certain time anyway so growth around there a little bit, there's like a few eateries down there.

  • Most of the people were going to paul which is the bakery and dessert place Floor zero and then -1 all the bathrooms are downstairs which this bathroom you do have to pay so if you're leaving make sure you have a coin you need a coin to use the bathroom.

  • We didn't have any coins um But €1.

  • This is the first time we ran into a situation where we needed money to use the bathroom so basically we were like okay we'll just wait to go to the bathroom when we go to the eurostar section so There is a weight because it took us about I wanna say 1520 minutes to get through um security checkpoint.

  • They know they check your bags, check your passport and then once you get into that eurostar section after all that then there's free bathroom so you don't have any money that's an option to use the bathrooms in here once you get to security um it's a if you're in the normal um economy class.

  • The line was pretty long um So I would say get to your at least an hour and a half before your departing time if you want to give yourself some chill time because I would say they're probably taking at least 30 to 40 minutes in that line.

  • Whereas our line we don't have business class were like in between, it was like something premier premier.

  • So the guy actually let us go to business, he was nice about it so that because he let us do that, we did cut our time probably in half.

  • But even then it was still kind of long.

  • I was a little bit surprised, I didn't realize how many people you have to go through like three different sections.

  • So first is you scan your passport and you take a picture, take a picture in the first, take a picture.

  • So you do that first after that checkpoint then you come to a person and she's checking your passport stamp.

  • Like to make sure you know you have a stamp coming in but then after that you have to do that process again, I don't understand why you have to do this, but you have to scan your passport once again take another picture, maybe that side is for the England side, maybe maybe maybe maybe one side the other side of England.

  • But so anyway you have to do this twice and then after that you have to put your luggage through security and I almost freaked out cause I have like six bottles of water in my suitcase because we overbought water, we don't want to waste it.

  • I'm like, oh man I have to take it out.

  • But no you don't have to hear if you have water you can bring it through.

  • No problem because I was I did not want to deal with opening up my suitcase and like taking all the water anyways.

  • So once that was done we walked in and it was just like a crowd of people was a little bit like whoa what's going on?

  • It's very chaotic.

  • And then once you pass that um like where we're sitting, relaxing, nice cool air conditioning, there's food over here paul.

  • Again your favorite.

  • Yeah.

  • Yeah now we're just chilling and waiting for our ride.

  • Yeah.

  • So I guess why why it was so chaotic before when we entered was because trains gate just had opened.

  • So there was a 3 13 train that was leaving and ours is 4 13.

  • So They opened the gate 20 to 30 minutes before the departure time.

  • So as we were passing by that's when they just opened the gate so everybody was trying to go through at once but once it's open it stays open until the departure time.

  • So you don't have to rush to get into this.

  • But I think a lot of people were was because they have luggage so they're trying to get a good spot for the luggage.

  • So that's the only reason why people were like trying to like cram in there like at once but if you don't have to worry about luggage like you can just go in there last minute if you want.

  • I don't care like just right here I think we're gonna have to worry about because we have we have a lot of luggage but they have a lot of eateries up here too.

  • They have the ball like Candy mentioned they have duty free once you walk in and all the way down at the end is the I think the business or coach one through 10 area sitting area so that area was more spacious and they had outlets and stuff.

  • But they also have another little kind of like little market where they have fresh fruits and sandwiches and stuff there too.

  • So more options up here plus free toilets, wait to hold your bathroom break, wait till you come up here.

  • And it's actually it's probably nicer up here to relax down there to just relax.

  • All right from the gate.

  • I got it.

  • I know, I can't believe I'm holding this with one hand like how strong I am.

  • So these are our seats right here.

  • Nice, pretty nice.

  • We're gonna sit across.

  • So I think we're going this way right, we'll go figure out which way we're going and then if it's going this way then you'll be fine.

  • Good afternoon everybody and welcome on board.

  • Thank you.

  • Okay.

  • Okay here is where our luggages.

  • Yeah.

  • Mhm.

  • Right over here.

  • Not much luggage space here but there's a crystal sitting over there but there is space to put smaller luggage up above your seat here.

  • So okay so if I go to the bathroom these doors are gonna open, The bathroom is right here, I just have to push the screen button to open.

  • It goes nice and spacious, rather green here to close it right make sure to lock it now, it's red.

  • So yeah, plenty of room in here.

  • So if you want to bring your luggage in here for whatever reason you don't want to leave it out there but if you're by yourself there's plenty of room to bring your luggage in here.

  • But yeah so there's the bathroom.

  • This train is very wobbly open.

  • Close.

  • Okay this way this just opens for you.

  • Looks nice.

  • Okay.

  • Open.

  • Yes.

  • So I got lots, got lots.

  • I got two desserts at all.

  • Okay um I really love there, swan like a cheesecake.

  • So it looks so good.

  • Got one of those and that was like called the almond E.

  • Or something that looks like an almond tart.

  • Looks really cute.

  • Exactly fantastic.

  • I think we're supposed to get a meal on this um journey because we paid for the standard premiere.

  • This is included with the meal.

  • It's a very very fast train.

  • They're saying like they have like top speeds on this train so far it's been very comfortable.

  • It's very quiet.

  • Something's coming down actually.

  • They're coming down with Yeah, it's like a drink car, like an airplane.

  • It's very quiet and soothing.

  • And they were supposed to go underwater soon like in a tunnel.

  • So that's gonna be exciting.

  • Uh They're saying like they have these monitors up here and it tells you like all these different tidbits on how fast the train is, how deep underwater you go and stuff.

  • So I'm kind of excited about that.

  • Alright, so we got our food and I got the roast beef with some other stuff.

  • I don't know what this other thing is.

  • It's alright.

  • Um Also comes with like wine and beer, but we both didn't feel like drinking that.

  • And Candy got apple juice actually, I'm just okay with water and then it comes with a little dessert.

  • I don't know what that I'm on.

  • Did I just had that role of bread with butter.

  • They even give you an antibacterial Tower will tell.

  • Which is nice.

  • What I didn't get one of those really like fell off or something.

  • Well, sorry about that.

  • She was too focused on me not remembering.

  • Yeah, because Candy Cut the non dairy or nondairy.

  • Right?

  • Yeah.

  • I was just afraid.

  • They're gonna give me a lot of cheese because we're friends.

  • Yeah, but I don't even know what this is actually looks like salmon salmon, potatoes, broccoli, pineapple I think I believe interesting because there's milk in there, I couldn't have that.

  • It does look like the salt pepper on that.

  • And then you got orange juice or apple juice.

  • Yeah, I probably won't drink this.

  • I just want to get back to my hotel.

  • We're really actually not that hungry.

  • We ate before because we assumed it's probably gonna be like airplane food and I'm glad I ate because I don't think I can eat that.

  • Yeah, I'm probably gonna eat a little bit of this.

  • Not too much, but you know, this is what you get.

  • We just wanted to see what you could get at a standard premier seat.

  • Yeah.

  • Alright, so we made it to London.

  • It was a great train ride.

  • I actually passed out for a little bit cause it felt so good.

  • The food like it was okay.

  • Um not like what I would usually order, but I wish I was just warmer.

  • I touched the bread and it was like rock hard over all the training.

  • I was like really smooth and fast.

  • You know, I only went underground for like a little bit because most of the time it was above ground and it wasn't too long.

  • I think like right before we went under.

  • I fell asleep.

  • It was dark anyway.

  • I couldn't see anything wifi sucks.

  • I mean it connected great when we're like waiting at the platform, but once it took off, like it was so slow.

  • But if you want to like send messages it's fine.

  • But if you want to do any uploading or watching videos like it's not it won't work for that.

  • Yeah, but I've experienced that on all the trains.

  • It doesn't even matter if the train has wifi itself, if you're trying to use your cellphone wifi, if you're trying to use your wifi hot device, like nothing really works.

  • I think it's just the route you're on when you're riding trains, they just don't include enough towers so you can get it on.

  • But I mean at least you can still check your messages and stuff so that was doable.

  • But overall it was a really comfortable ride.

  • Yeah, I loved it.

  • Absolutely loved it.

  • Um So yeah, I hope this review helped you out.

  • If it did please give it a thumbs up and if you want to watch more of our videos, please subscribe to our channel.
