  • after a high school music teacher reached out and asked

  • for an inspirational track that she

  • could play for her students.

  • 'cause paying off the student loans is difficult.

  • The editing only took a couple days,

  • but it was filmed half a year apart,

  • with the drums done in Norway and the piano done in Italy.

  • ALEX: It was uploaded in 2006 and it

  • has over 14 million views.

  • This got him commercial offers from MTV and Chevrolet.

  • And he turned them down because he

  • doesn't like the idea of advertising.
