  • But Moscow continues to deny any plans to send troops into the country,

  • despite having amassed more than 100,000 near the border.

  • The Kremlin says worries of an imminent invasion

  • have reached absurd levels.

  • But UK Defense Secretary Ben Wallace says

  • an invasion of Ukraine is highly likely.

  • He told the Sunday Times that "there's a whiff of Munich in the air",

  • comparing Western diplomatic efforts to ease the Ukraine crisis

  • to the appeasement of Nazi Germany.

  • The US, Canada and Australia

  • have evacuated embassy staff in Kyiv and moved operations

  • to the city of Lviv near the Polish border.

  • An invasion could start at any time

  • if President Putin so decides that includes in the coming days.

  • More than a dozen countries have urged their citizens to leave Ukraine.

  • But, in Ukraine,

  • the atmosphere doesn't match the panic from the West.

  • Not all foreign citizens being urged to leave are doing so.

  • and it's not just us.

  • So it's my wife, our dog, our extended family.

  • You want to stay as long as you can, right?

  • Just because of those relationships.

  • The Ukrainian president has said talks of an invasion are unhelpful.

  • All this information helps only for panic.

  • It doesn't help us.

  • And the Ukrainian people are marching on their home,

  • insisting that life will go on.

  • Honestly, I'm not afraid.

  • The war didn't start in a week,

  • it's already been going on for eight years,

  • so [it's] nothing new for us.
