  • ah Mhm.

  • Good morning.

  • So I didn't do any of my makeup right now, but I did do my hair.

  • I'm not doing anything.

  • And I know you guys are like, why is she getting dressed up?

  • Honestly, Like I'm wearing some comfy clothes today and I'm getting dressed up because I just feel like it life tip.

  • If you dress up and you look semi presentable then you can just get more done.

  • You're just more productive.

  • Also, another excuse that I have is that I'm gonna be skyping my boyfriend because we're going to be planning my trip to L.

  • A.

  • I'm going to be in L.

  • A.

  • At the end of March.

  • So I'm super excited.

  • I have never been to L.

  • A.

  • I don't know what to expect, but we're going to plan our trip today.

  • So instead of doing my makeup right now, I'm really hungry and so I'm going to do it after I eat okay everybody.

  • So we are going to make oatmeal today.

  • Good morning.

  • It is uh still january, which I wish it was not today.

  • We're going to be using bob's red mill rolled oats, whole grain.

  • It's gluten free.

  • I'm going to pop that into the pan and we're going to make a more savory oatmeal today.

  • I usually do half water, half milk.

  • Make it less dense and heavy and that's what I tend to eat in the morning.

  • So yeah, Okay.

  • The next thing we're gonna do is put down a pan I have some sausage here and I have some greens that we're going to put inside the pan.

  • Mm hmm.

  • Mm hmm.

  • Mhm.

  • Mhm.

  • Mm hmm.

  • Yeah.

  • Mm hmm.

  • So I have one egg.

  • That's all I'm going to use to top it to add to it.

  • I like to eat some yogurt.

  • This is my favorite kind.

  • It's called party.

  • No.

  • And it is my favorite.

  • I've mentioned this in my instagram stories before.

  • Mm Oh my God.

  • So good.

  • But I can be aggressive to think that it is a cautionary tale.

  • Mhm.

  • Hi, I'm alive.

  • I'm human again.

  • This is me all dressed up with my makeup on and I'm going absolutely nowhere today.

  • That's interesting.

  • I was going to talk to my boyfriend earlier I think, but he got stuck in traffic and I guess it's raining really hard in L.

  • A.

  • Which is very super, super rare.

  • It's like almost 1 30 I just got ready.

  • So I'm having a really slow day today, but I really need to get some things done.

  • Like editing and things like that.

  • Since I'm running low on time.

  • I want to show you guys what types of things I eat here.

  • Um when I'm in a rush.

  • So I don't have any snack in between my breakfast.

  • I had a very filling breakfast and eat um some curry actually that I got at the supermarket.

  • So I want to show you what kind of curry I get at the supermarket.

  • It's super good northern mess here.

  • I just wash some dishes.

  • I don't have much room in this freaking kitchen.

  • This is the rice.

  • It's instant rice.

  • I don't always eat instant rice.

  • I have a rice cooker and I make usually brown rice.

  • This is instant brown rice and my means brown rice.

  • It is 207 calories.

  • And I like this one because it doesn't have a zillion ingredients in it and it's tasty.

  • I don't know how amazingly good for your body it is but it does the trick.

  • So basically you pull this open, it says to cook it for about two minutes.

  • So we're gonna go ahead and put that in the microwave.

  • I'm sorry this is not me cooking but you know I'm a busy person.

  • Okay so the curry that I usually get at the supermarket, this is the curry that I get at the supermarket.

  • It is a green curry.

  • So it's made with coconut and chicken.

  • It's really good.

  • Um I don't count calories but if you guys are wondering it's like 269 calories for this and it's really filling, it has lots of vegetables in it which I love and it's spicy, I love spicy things.

  • So I'm gonna open this up on the back, you can see you can put it in a boiling pot just by itself.

  • So it comes in this a pack like this or you can wrap it and put it in a bowl and cook it for about a minute, 32 2 minutes.

  • I'm going to be doing that right now.

  • The allergy information is down here.

  • It looks like wheat milk, beans and uh, chicken meat, meat.

  • I'm not sure.

  • But this is all the ingredients allergen information.

  • It would help if you do have allergies to learn to read japanese or recognize the type of kanji that you're allergic to.

  • In this case I'm allergic to nuts.

  • So there's nothing in here related to nuts.

  • Just coconut And I'm not allergic to coconut.

  • I try to put things in smaller bowls or containers.

  • It's really, it's not that big like this is my hand.

  • If you don't like that.

  • Mm hmm.

  • I'm really, really hungry right now.

  • I put my clothes in the wash and I'm going to be editing the rest of the night after I eat dinner.

  • But I just wanted to show you these snacks that I got on I herb.

  • I order from them all the time because there's a lot of nut free things on there and tell told me that these are so good and they are to die for.

  • So, these are protein bites.

  • I had such a hard time finding granola bars that are not free.

  • This is like the closest thing to a granola bar.

  • It's six g of protein per protein bite.

  • If you eat three of them, there are like 170 calories.

  • It's chocolatey.

  • It's rich chocolate mixed with sunflower seed spread surrounded by chocolate pumpkin seed coating and it is delicious.

  • Like I love these for a snack.

  • They're nutritious, kills my sweets craving and it is just it looks like this.

  • They're very small and they're just basically little chocolate balls.

  • Mm hmm.

  • And chewy.

  • I love, love, love these.

  • So these are made from all natural ingredients.

  • Mm hmm.

  • It's free from wheat, peanuts, tree nuts, dairy, soy, egg, sesame, sulphites, mustard, fish, shellfish and crustaceans.

  • Okay, so today we're going to make something called Hokkaido salmon.

  • I got this on a website called J simple recipes.

  • And it was the first website that I found because I was like, okay, well, I live in japan, so maybe I need to cook japanese food, but that's not the case.

  • Like you can cook pretty much anything in japan, but a lot of the stuff that you want to cook like foreign foods or american dishes.

  • I have to go to called E, which is an import shop.

  • There's also one, um, some in Asaba, jujube on station.

  • They have tons of import shops there.

  • So today we're going to make a japanese recipe, but you can make this at home as well anywhere in the world.

  • Honestly, like you just need some miso sugar, sake or white wine, carrots, onions, cabbage, salmon and butter, which I forgot to get.

  • I'm so upset.

  • I forgot to get butter.

  • So we're gonna see how this tastes without the butter and just with some olive oil.

  • These are actually sashimi salmon.

  • So you can eat it raw.

  • But it cooks really well.

  • And it's without bones because I don't like the bones.

  • But you can cook this with any, any kind of salmon if you want the bones in or whatnot.

  • You can even make this with chicken or tofu.

  • But it's the easiest recipe.

  • Don't yell at me.

  • I know I need a new pan.

  • This is just all roughed up.

  • Okay.

  • I just abused my pants which is not good.

  • Mm hmm.

  • Okay, well that's cooking.

  • I am heating up some hot water because I have some instant miso soup, instant miso soup is not very good for you.

  • But I wanted something on the side.

  • So you can get these bags of miso at the supermarket, any japanese supermarket supermarket, I can't speak.

  • So basically you open up this pack package.

  • There we go.

  • And then you put it in whatever bowl you are using.

  • This is a lot of miso in.

  • This dish is miso soup and miso salmon.

  • So it's just a big miso dinner tonight.

  • And this is the seasoning that goes into the miso soup.

  • It has like nori, which is seaweed and green onion.

  • And this little tofu bit.

  • So it looks kind of like this as you can see guys don't judge me on my cooking because I'm really not that good.

  • And I do a lot of things wrong.

  • So then you take some hot water and you pour it inside the cup and it makes instant miso soup.

  • But I have also some kimchi that I'm gonna eat because this is like the last day that I can really eat it.

  • Mhm.

  • So I'm going to watch some youtube videos and procrastinate some more and then I'm going to eat, edit my video and we'll talk a little bit more later.

  • I hope you guys enjoyed these foods.

  • I don't necessarily eat too late at night around eight o'clock.

  • I basically have that role where the kitchen is closed unless I come home late to many salty snacks or any junk food generally.

  • Um, that's how I really stay thin in Japan.

  • I use smaller bowls, smaller container and I go out with my friends.

  • I eat whatever I want.

  • I'm going to show you guys, you know, once a week, maybe a food diary of what I eat.

  • Maybe one day of what I
