Welcome to Hotel to Venus Hamamatsu, a manga or comic book themed hotel that will blow your mind.

Just opened in the beginning of August this year, this themed hotel is equipped with AI Technology to help guide you around Japan.

To Venus is unique in a sense that it was designed by a famous artist named Danika who wanted to give travelers the experience of living in an imaginary Tokyo.

Each room has a different story, complete with manga frames and pictures as well as Japanese sound effects or onomatopoeia.

We're here to give you a tour of this hotel and what it has to offer.

Wow.

Today we are at a manga themed hotel.

We are probably the first.

Youtuber is a stay at this hotel, so I'm going to give you a little bit of a tour.

So let's go.

We were able to snatch up two rooms for you guys and we are starting in the egg themed room.

This is my room for tonight.

Each room is actually very different.

So every room has a sort of different themes.

So this theme is an egg theme.

looks like a comic book, like a legit comic book, which is really cool.

I'm not sure if each floor Is different.

Like the hallways are different.

They might be.

I'm not positive.

But today we're on the 10th floor and we are on the sea side so you can actually see the ocean from here, which is actually super cool.

This is my bed.

So you can sleep here and next to you is a cup holder, which is super convenient.

I love this feature right here.

You can put anything here.

This is like your little bedside table.

Right.

So over here we have your typical outlets.

This looks like a manga page so you can see the lamp and the hands.

And it shows this little USB thing here so you can charge your phone or anything here.

Each room has a short story in this room.

Someone is making their breakfast.

All right, so on the floor, we have the egg.

This is the egg that was cracked onto the floor from above.

On the curtains, it says duh.

Which means it's like the sound of cooking.

So each room has different an amount of PS so over here we have the blanket and this is actually connected to the floor.

So right here it says polka, which means cracking the egg.

It's the sound of cracking an egg in Japanese.

So in kata conduct Japanese calligraphy, they have a sound effect for each picture.

So here the egg is cracking and it's going all the way to the floor, which is really cool.

And it says, Yeah, which is the sound of an egg cooking.

So each picture has some kind of animal Tapia, or sound effect for just like a regular manga would.

This is so cool.

I love it.

So, as you can see, this is the picture of the room.

This is the theme, the egg theme.

But little do you know this is actually a curtain so you can open up the curtain.

And today you see the outside, which is absolutely beautiful.

You can see the ocean from here.

Yeah, we got a good view up here, and yeah, this is the curtains.

So you can open them and close them as you please.

I bet it's beautiful at night.

We'll get some shots later.

These are like black out curtains, which can help you sleep a little bit better, have little things like the air conditioner remote.

Don't forget to use this to turn on the air conditioner.

We have our TV remote.

We have some tissue here, hangers to hang your clothes and we have a TV right over here.

So this is pretty cool.

There's actually a chair if you want to sit down and a TV tray, which is really cool so you can eat your food on this tray, if you would like, I'm assuming for to call the front desk.

If you need help.

It is actually an air purifier, so this purifies the air in your room.

It's fairly new, so I'm not surprised that they have something like this in here.

Then, if you follow me to the bathroom very small.

Very cute.

Brand new.

We have our typical Japanese wash lit right here.

You have your towels up here.

There it is, and you have your cups for brushing your teeth, your sink, hair dryer and towels.

Toilet paper is the shower.

It's very clean and new.

I love how this looks is like brand new, very modern.

It's very chic manga hotel.

Yeah, I love the colors.

I love the theme, and that is the end of this room tour.

It's very cozy, very small.

I like it and it's very unique.

You're like an actual Japanese hero.

You never mind that.

What are you saving the world from?

Saving the world from all the evil eggs moving out into the hallway.

You'll see some fun little accents across the hallway, carpet and doors that represent page numbers in a Japanese comic book.

Each floor has a short story laid out for you.

Let's take a look at what our story was.

Okay, so this is the hallway.

This is our floor right here.

Like I said, I'm not sure what the floors look like, all the other locations, but this is what ours looks like and it looks like a freaking comic book.

This is freaking crazy.

If you look down here, all of the frames are look like they're from a manga series.

But they have different things that the person is doing.

A different sound effects are different on a different amount of P s.

So we're going to go through them right now.

Alright?

So beauty is going to explain each sound effect here.

So the first one is This is Sue.

It's a type of pen when you use the pink pants.

So when you're writing, that's the sound.

The fact that it makes what's the next one?

We have a A chain.

A chain is jingling.

Yes, okay.

Rattling, rattling, rattling.

Yes, yes, this is my favorite.

One species called tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick.

That is a very manga type sound.

It's for walking.

This one's a picture of a person's genes in their hands and their sweater.

What is it?

Actually fell onto the bed because he was so tired or something.

It's a story.

Yeah, he just fell onto the bed and went to sleep.

There must be a story through each floor, which is kind of cool.

So this is our story.

The person comes to their hotel room and then they fall asleep and sleeping.

So we all know this one.

But yeah, that's really cool.

So I love that This is a story that you can tell It's pretty, pretty unique that each floor is like this.

So this was created by a artist.

Her name is Danica, and she has a website which I will link down below.

And she's pretty young.

She's in her twenties and she created this whole hotel with her art in it.

So yeah, we're going to explore the downstairs.

I'm going to show you guys what little lobby looks like.

And we can talk a little bit more about what they have and the features that they have, and then we're gonna go and walk around the area.

So there's actually, I think, two or three of the same hotel in Tokyo.

There's one in another location that I'm not entirely sure about.

They have the website which is linked down below, and you guys can check it out.

This one isn't tacky, Sheba, which is really cool because it's by the water.

It's near Odaiba.

I love that location.

We're going to show you guys the lobby and talk a little bit more about it.

The lobby is what opens us up to the world that the artist is trying to convey, with multiple comic strip art covering both the walls and the ceilings.

This is where you can have free coffee breakfast.

Check in or out and relax.

So we are now in the lobby of this hotel and it is super cool.

The artistic work is just blowing my mind.

The table, which is all manga themes right here.

And they have actual sound effects on each table, so we're not going to go through all of those again.

They have USB plugs so you can charge your stuff and you can work on your computer here.

So this is really nice.

Part Max is decent work.

This is the actual seating area where you can sit down nicely thing over here.

So, basically, if you sit down and enjoy just chatting and hanging out with your friends, they have plugs over here as well.

It's a very, very comfortable chair right here.

So each chair has a different sort of manga page or theme to it in the back here there is another illustration and they have tons of different ones on the ceilings as well, which makes it super unique.

Really cool.

In the lobby is an AI technology map full of information about Tokyo.

You can look up events, restaurants and awesome tourist spots in a few different languages with the robot on the screen.

On my left, we have this electronic map can speak up, I think four different languages.

One of them is English, so you can find out where you want to go, the events that are going on.

So I'm going to explain that a little bit more.

So we have events.

So if you click on events information, it shows what events are going on so you can click on the option.

There's Tokyo Tower events going on.

There's lights.

You can go and click on tourist spots, So these are all the recommended places to go around the area.

You can click on restaurants, which is what we need.

Let's look for restaurants.

You can get Japanese tea, you can get coffee.

You can get anything that you want.

I think I'm going to have a cup right now.

It's like a regular coffee machine in any convenience store that you go to.

If it's a nice day, you can step out onto the terrace to watch the trains go by and check out the pier near the water while enjoying a cup of tea or coffee.

Yeah, so basically, you can sit out here, chat with your friends, talk.

There's trains that go by so you can watch the trains.

There's no train right now, but you can see it go by.

If you sit here long enough, heading back inside after checking in, you can grab some necessities for your stay here and put them in a stylish manga themed bag.

You can get face wash shampoo, conditioners, brushes, Q tips and more.

Okay, so over here we have your pajamas and we have all of your things that you need to go to bed.

So, like brushing your teeth or shampoo, face wash or anything like that so you can just open the bag and then choose whichever ones that you like.
