  • So here we are at Kentucky fried chicken or KFC in Tokyo and they have this really unique burger that just came out.

  • I'm gonna introduce it to you.

  • I thought it was just something special because today is um like workers thank thankful for working day.

  • I'm not sure what the day is called but it's a holiday in japan which I guess would be considered thanksgiving on christmas and thanksgiving people typically come to Kentucky fried chicken.

  • So this I just got this as um I'm not as a set but this is a a chicken filet.

  • Minchey concert burger or sandwich I guess you call it a sandwich right?

  • And of course it's it's finger licking.

  • I'm not sure the Kentucky's um 11 herbs and spices I guess.

  • And that's a Minchey katsu which is very japanese, it's like minced beef or pork in a meatball and then battered and deep fried.

  • And I guess there's all, there is a sauce on there, It looks like a honey mustard or something.

  • That's gonna be interesting to figure out what they did there.

  • There's a chicken patty and it's on a piece of lettuce.

  • There's more sauce underneath there.

  • Oh this is gonna be interesting.

  • I don't eat a lot of fast food, but this was just curious enough.

  • This is just interesting enough to pique my curiosity.

  • Let's take it out of the box here and I'm gonna cut it in half because I don't think I can eat the whole thing for that.

  • It just doesn't look good enough and it looks as good as it tastes, it tastes as good as it looks, which is not good at all.

  • The satsuma Imo one of the varieties is purple down there in Kagoshima.

  • I see a lot of them there, but you can find this purple potatoes is about everywhere.

  • It's purple on the outside and nice and yellow on the inside.

  • Why they are making a killing just based on marketing from so many years ago.

  • I had never had any friends that that have admitted that they do this other than like Youtuber saying that they did this because they you know I wanted to do something about Japan's weird christmas and there's also a yoga card.

  • We have to fly via Osaka's Itami Airport.

  • So we switch planes and then fly to Oki Island And then we get on a ferry.

  • I'm only there for like 36 hours film a lot mostly live streams and then I'm coming back and this is a um the Japanese parks associate the national parks um asked me to come down if I was interested in Okay island and I'm like yeah give me access and I'm there.

  • And so Dean and I are going to go there for a couple of days for one night.

  • Actually when I say a couple of days what's a couple of, it's like 36 hours two days one night and I'm back in the evening early enough I think to give leo a bath His bad times like 6-7 p.

  • so I always wanted to go to Oki Islands.

  • It's an island separated from Japan into the sea of Japan.

  • It's really beautiful.

  • I don't know what it's like now at this time of year it's not the peak time but it should be really interesting and it's a reason to click that subscribe button and join us For the next 36 hours on an island in Japan.

  • That's gonna be pretty cool.

  • I'm editing the next video which is a fireworks inside of the fireworks um making industry the fireworks industry here in Japan.

  • Now there's like six people in Tokyo getting coronavirus.

  • I'm pretty safe.

  • But we're still taking precautions.

  • Um, we have plastic shields here and there.

  • There's really not a lot of people out and about still.

  • Uh, but hopefully the situation get along is going to get down to zero.

  • We'll talk about maybe opening it up to terrorism, but with vaccination rates like 80% here.

  • It's a pretty good situation in Japan and I'm very proud everybody who went and got vaccinated pretty quickly.

  • We probably open it up to kids and maybe we'll get close to the 90%.

  • Pretty crazy.

  • Right?

  • Um, yeah.

  • And you know our buddy Irvin Irvin is down there in another part of the world to taking advantage of the open travel in some countries, uh, urban.
