  • Look at how beautiful this is.

  • It looks like snow.

  • But it's not it's really that's calcium and minerals.

  • Yeah so that is the main area where all the tourists can go explore the thermal baths.

  • Uh But this area back here this is an area you can walk around and look at it but you can't walk on traveling because there um trump preserve what I believe.

  • Plus there is no more of that blue water here anyway.

  • But I mean it's still beautiful.

  • You get gorgeous view overlooking city.

  • So.

  • Yeah right now it's um 6:30 Now an hour and a half before sunset.

  • There's still some people out there but if you go way at the end it looks like there's less people so everybody's gonna gathered up front here.

  • But further down you go there's less than those people.

  • So if you want good pictures just go all the way to the end or come at sunrise.

  • They actually open at 6:30 AM.

  • Um but on the south gate entrance, so make sure you don't mix the entrances if you go to the main entrance that opens up at eight.

  • But if you go to the south gate entrance at 6 30 so we're gonna come back at 6 30 most likely there'll be less people.

  • We could take better pictures so we're kind of like scoping it out right now.

  • Yeah, we'll have to pay twice for um the entrance fee.

  • But we were okay with that.

  • This place is huge because it's mixed in with the the ancient ruins, heroic lists I believe.

  • And then the traveling teams kind of surrounded mhm mm.

  • Mhm.

  • Yeah, limestone is actually kind of hurt your feet so you have to walk barefoot.

  • The water here actually feels good right now.

  • Yeah, but be careful walking to because some areas are slippery.

  • So here I am at public collar.

  • I almost can't believe I'm here.

  • Very, very nice.

  • Also fun fact mama call it literally means cotton Castle Pamuk means cotton and carla means castle.

  • It's also a unesco world heritage like this.

  • Watch your step here.

  • Okay.

  • Some areas really hurt one of the wine stones like this, especially painful.

  • The other areas are soft.

  • Yeah and other areas are very simply to walk on.

  • I think that it feels good.

  • Okay.

  • Yeah.

  • Mhm.

  • Out really hurts when you step on the sharp lime stones.

  • Mhm.

  • Yeah.

  • Yeah.

  • We are back at the thermal springs in pharmacology and we came at 6 30 this morning because that's what time they open at the south gate only the south gate, not the main gate Um and they open at 6:30.

  • They won't let you in earlier.

  • Um but yeah, we see some air balloons right next to it so it looks amazing.

  • The air balloons are so close that we can hear um them firing it up.

  • So yeah, this is really pretty.

  • Um So far were like the first ones here.

  • So you might have it all to ourselves.

  • So crazy how close it is.

  • I don't think I've ever seen a terrible in this close.

  • Yeah.

  • Mhm.

  • Yeah.

  • Mhm.

  • Mhm.

  • Mhm.

  • Um Yeah, I got done with our morning shots.

  • Yeah, for a good like 2 2.5 hours.

  • There was nobody here except for us actually.

  • There was one other couple that was shooting and the rest of time we pretty much have a place all to ourselves and it was really nice.

  • Great lighting.

  • Not that hot, it was like 65, and it's the end of May.

  • So sorry, just watch out for your steps here.

  • Some of the rocks are so hard.

  • I got bruises on the bottom of my feet because there's ridges on these limestone rocks and you know sometimes I don't know where a step and a step in the wrong spot and Oh yeah, it hurts.

  • But there are some smoother parts that you could walk on, but there's also slippery parts too.

  • So you really need to be careful.

  • This is the view in the morning.

  • These people coming.

  • This is gorgeous.

  • It really looks like snow.

  • Old roman.

  • Okay.

  • Mm hmm.

  • These here are tombs.

  • There's a total of 2000 tombs around here and well the bodies aren't in there anymore.

  • They took them somewhere else.

  • But yeah, there's a whole bunch of them here.

  • You can still see some of inscriptions there.

  • This is amazing.

  • Look at how here's that tomb is.

  • Yeah.

  • Mm mm mm This is a shopping market and there's three doors here and only the king and queen can go back through this door.

  • But if you're poor you have to go around the book.

  • So this used to be a bizarre and this was the bathroom here to the side.

  • You just can't take a peek around here.

  • Yeah, compare actually.

  • Um I mean it looks really nice.

  • Yeah.

  • And this is, this was the entrance into the bazaar.

  • Mm mhm A lot of people here.

  • Oh wow, this is really well preserved.

  • Really beautiful.

  • Oh this was like for fighting.

  • Mm hmm.

  • The gladiators came out here and family and necessarily people reach people, poor people is here poor people's right represent that's like in America.

  • Now I can't afford a Yeah.

  • All right.

  • So we got to check out how Mukalla thermal hot springs and check out the ancient city here A palace.

  • Which was really great.

  • I highly recommend doing that because you know it's a significant part of al Mukalla.

  • It's um an ancient city that's 3000 years old.

  • And if you want to do a quick one hour tour there's like some uh golf carts in the front of the south gate where we were entered through.

  • And um it was only what less than 30 bucks for an hour tour for two people.

  • So I thought that was really great.

  • It's totally worth it because the city is huge.

  • So if you want to walk it you can but it'll be pretty brutal because it gets hot in Parma College.

  • I mean end of May and it was close to 100 degrees so it'll be pretty tough walking in that weather anyway.

  • Learn a lot of great stuff about the city.

  • Um And of course that there are more springs are beautiful.

  • Got to go in the mornings before everybody gets there or stay late for sunset.

  • Mhm.
