These words are homophones. They are pronounced  exactly the same but they have different  

pronunciations and different meanings. Our words  today or are leased which is the past tense  

meaning um to rent property; and  least meaning the smallest amount.

So here are the words leased and least.

So to say these words correctly we're going  to think of four sounds. We're going to start  

with the l sound l you going to touch the tip of  your tongue to the back of your top front teeth. 

To be really specific it's that little  spot between your teeth and your gums.

Next we're going to move to the long e.  It is my favorite vowel you just smile  

your tongue is high and flat in your mouth.

Then you are going to keep your  tongue in just about the same position  

you're going to shift so that all that air can  be moving out of your mouth for the s sound sss.

Then touch the tip of your tongue  to the back of your top front teeth  

for that t sound t. Let's put it all together.
