  • There are loads of apps out there helping people meditate, but how do you choose which one to use?

  • To help you out, I've reviewed 13 meditation apps, and in this video, I'm going to cover the best free ones.

  • Well done on starting your meditation journey.

  • Regular meditation can improve your health and happiness while reducing stress and anxiety and improving your sleep.

  • Of the 13 apps I reviewed, I only found two genuinely free appsones without premium versions.

  • Insight Timer is one of those, um, it goes by the philosophy that providing you with a daily meditation practice should be a privilege, not a product.

  • With over 7,000 guided meditations by over 1,500 teachers, and excellent usability, this is my top choice for free meditation.

  • Smiling Mind is another free app set up by a not-for-profit that aims to bring the benefits of mindfulness to the masses.

  • The app is free, but you can donate to the cause.

  • It asks you to check in how you're feeling before and after every session, and it has a great digital detox section helping you to stay away from technology for a bit.

  • A number of the paid-for apps also offer free versions that are worth looking at if you'd like to explore further.

  • They are Calm, The Mindfulness App, Headspace, Stop Breathe Think, Ten percent Happier, Mindfulness Daily, Omvana, and Simple Habit.

  • Well done for committing to meditation.

  • Even if you don't want to spend any money, there are loads of options available for you.

  • Thanks for watching my review of the best free meditation apps.
