hi everyone jennifer from tarle's speech with your two for tuesday today is actually a three
for tuesday we have three homophones which are three words that are spelled differently
but are pronounced the same way our words are heel heal and he'llheel is the
back part of the bottom of your foot heal means to become healthy and he'll is short for he will
so to say these words correctly we're going to do the same thing for all three words we're going
to start with the h hhhh to do this relax your mouth and you're going to let the air puff out
move to the long e by smiling you're going to have a high flat tongue your mouth is in a smile and
you're going to make that vowel nice and long and then you're going to touch the tip of your tongue
to the back of your top front teeth for the l lll make sure that your lips stay back a little
bit you don't want to pucker them like this you want to keep them back more in the smile shape
and that will help you say that l let's put it all together h eel h eel heel heel
heel heel heal he'll and now for a sentence he'll heal his heel by staying off of his foot he'll
heal his heel by staying off of his foot give it a try people are going to notice the difference
