  • Hello everybody Welcome to Tokyo Creative Play.

  • I'm your host, Emma and today I'm here with Sarah and today's video is in collaboration with Suntory Time.

  • In Central time is about relaxing with japanese style food and drinks and just beings in and enjoying the moment.

  • Today we're gonna be making a variety of finger foods and pairing them with different beverages and just enjoying them in a nice homey vibe.

  • But today's video is gonna be a little different to the usual stuff.

  • So hopefully you can just watch along with us and enjoy the ride and learn how to make some different kinds of japanese food and beverages.

  • And today we're joined by our wonderful friend Jordan.

  • Come on down, Jordan has been doing a lot of work behind the scenes and take your creative.

  • But today he's joining in the kitchen can be making some beverages.

  • Oh so let's put on some aprons and get started.

  • Okay let's get started.

  • So what are you going to be making today for the drink?

  • So making a box, like a gin tonic and green tea.

  • Very nice.

  • Thank you.

  • So me and Sarah are gonna be making asparagus wrapped with thinly sliced meat.

  • What are you making sure you, I'm going to make me very nice.

  • Okay, so you get started on the drinks and we'll join.

  • You will too.

  • It's good.

  • Okay, first things first.

  • Let's try the Roku, Sakura gin and tonic for this.

  • A little more complicated.

  • But we need a few things, the ice, we need a lime tonic, the economy sakura liqueur and of course particle jim mm Let's give it a go excited for this one.

  • Uh huh.

  • Oh.

  • Uh huh, wow.

  • Okay, so today with Sarah, we're gonna be making some asparagus wrapped with thinly sliced meat and we're gonna be pairing it with the rock, you sucker at gin and time.

  • Yeah, it's actually really easy so you guys can try at home.

  • Yeah, so the ingredient will be using is asparagus and then thinly sliced meat, you can use either beef or pork.

  • Then we have some potato starch, some sesame seeds, salt, pepper, and some teriyaki sauce we prepared earlier.

  • Now let's get started, let's cooking, let's cooking.

  • Mhm.

  • Yeah.

  • Okay, next we're gonna make the Haku of green tea.

  • Super easy drink that you can make at home.

  • You know it takes three ingredients, get your ice in green tea and of course the star of the show hockey vodka.

  • Let's give it a go.

  • Uh huh.

  • Yeah, mm I'm going to prepare fancy, I'm not gonna see me which is goes well with the struggle with green tea.

  • So I'm going to show you how to make it.

  • But it's so simple.

  • All I need to do is cut the avocado and put a lot of nice leaves and I prepare a lot of things.

  • But today only use cilantro seaweed and not, I'm going to make a nice little nuts with this and then quite leak.

  • It could be the green league or basil.

  • I'm gonna show you how to make it stop.

  • I'm drinking green tea.

  • We are having the way, but can you guess wait, what are the botanicals in it by the way?

  • I'm going to read these are so many great Sakura flower center T sansho pepper.

  • Some relief.

  • The greatest one in here.

  • Using yours is always good for the county was super super nice.

  • How is yours?

  • Mine is very nice.

  • Green tea flavor.

  • But this is made of the japanese rice.

  • So you guys mind I get started.

  • So this one we made to pair with this drink goes really well.

  • We went with a teriyaki sauce because the girl I'm gonna go for this one doesn't have to be.

  • But this is a really classic dish.

  • I feel in japan that you'll see the asparagus with meat wrapped on it.

  • We have good chefs.

  • We killed it.

  • Oh my God, thank you.

  • Well done.

  • I wish you guys could try with this drink like the Hubble.

  • I don't know the essence.

  • Yeah.

  • Really complements it was really good.

  • Yeah.

  • This kind of stuff you can like, it's really easy to make it home as well.

  • You know, it's kind of been released.

  • Everyone can get.

  • So it's really, it was really, yeah socio what is your one that you made?

  • Wasn't avocado?

  • It was really great as well.

  • You can get everywhere right?

  • But we usually eat.

  • I've never tried it.

  • I'm really excited.

  • Okay, why do you call it?

  • Oh, I know that.

  • It's actually apparently is similar to like it's similar to tuna has the same texture.

  • It has the same like, oh it's the texture because it's like roar.

  • Unquote.

  • No, no.

  • Yeah my friend doesn't like to and always gets like, wow, it's just like tuna.

  • I don't really see it but it's good with package, it's really good coriander.

  • Mm Yeah.

  • Because normally I would associate this kind of flavors with mexican food, but then you add the soy sauce and the naughty and it suddenly becomes really japanese.

  • It's really good.

  • I really want to try this as well.

  • Oh my gosh!

  • I mean that it's amazing.

  • I think the step was what tofu at the moment.

  • Yeah, that sounds amazing.

  • Smart.

  • Try this.

  • There's so many nuts on, this is great.

  • I think it's so easy to have like a really satisfying, like japanese flavor picnic at home.

  • I know, I love lots of little dishes to try and you try like individual little, that's my favorite.

  • I feel like it's really easy to cook japanese at home too.

  • So long as you have like the main ingredients or sources like soy sauce meat and suck it.

  • Actually there's a lot of other dishes that go really well with these drinks, but you guys can actually check them out.
