Last month we were kind of brainstorming frustrated from the fact that we've been locked down in our homes for the past year.

When he came up with the idea to go to madeira.

One of the only destinations where you can actually travel without going to a 14 day quarantine.

And that's how the Ravi's Vlogs continue.

So we are right now at the Prague airport.

I'm here with my sister, uh my older brother and his wife and their dog.

We're actually going to have to flights from Prague to Lisbon and then from Lisbon to Madeira or not, flying directly.

There might be a possibility that we will run into some issues in Lisbon because we still don't know if we have all the credentials and all the documents because of all the restrictions.

This is the first time we're traveling under these circumstances yesterday, we obviously had to get tested um tested as in, we all had to take a very hard math exam.

That was, that was our test.

Yeah.

Actually why am I wearing a mask?

I don't think I need to wear a mask because there's no, no people around me right now except for my sister, but I think she's safe.

You never know.

The reason we're going to Madeira and not to any other country is because Madeira, the island that belongs to Portugal.

Unlike Portugal and other countries from the european Union, you can travel there.

The only thing you have to provide is like a negative test and then you're free to go there.

So another cool thing is another thing that I've never experienced before is that the airport is super empty.

Like there's almost nobody because there's like only two flights departure ring today, one of them being our flight.

What are you looking forward to the most I think to all their landscapes and to trying new food, landscapes and food.

Guys, that's landscapes.

It's been quite a while since I've last boarded a plane.

So this is going to be definitely a new experience since we're all going to have to wear a mask the whole flight.

So I'm not gonna lie.

It's pretty hectic.

But what can you do?

These are difficult times and we are the ones that chose to travel.

Okay, so the first complication turns out we have the wrong document so we have to fill out a formal um Yeah, because nobody told us that we need a different one.

So now all the people here trying to fill out the correct document because we all have this one because that was on the website.

Imagine arriving to a foreign country and then from from all the, all the sides around to everybody is asking you to fill out a document that you don't even know thankfully we got it.

So we got through all of us intelligence so they are not going to be any further complications and we're gonna get to Madeira safely.

So we arrived to Lisbon, the flight was longer than I expected or like it felt really long.

It felt like five hours but it was like two or 3.

Really?

I can't wait to get to madeira finally.

But to be honest, I really enjoyed traveling.

Even the hustle in the airports.

I think it really, you know, it adds to the atmosphere.

Um All right.

It's not going to fly it.

Same old shit.

Yeah.

I'm not going to film anything really.

I'm just going to let you guys know when we arrive.

All right guys, So we just arrived.

I'm pretty tired to be honest.

Now we're going to have to get our rented car that we're gonna use throughout the whole month.

I'm not sure where it is yet.

My brother is figuring it out.

This car doesn't look bad.

So we just arrived to the Airbnb.

We're all pretty tired.

So we're just gonna unpack the house.

Lady prepared us some beautiful kate and actually also some breakfast for tomorrow, some fruits, some coffee.

But I think we're gonna have a really nice time here.

We're gonna let you guys know what we're gonna do tomorrow for now.

We're gonna go to sleep.

So okay, Good neighbors, good mythical morning or should I just say beautiful.

Okay guys, so it's the next day we're on Madeira.

I mean obviously, right, you guys have to give me some time to adjust because it's been quite some time since I've done a proper vlog.

Well, first of all, let me show you guys a view from our Airbnb.

Yeah.

Mm.

Isn't that insane that this is the view from our Airbnb?

I mean of course it's not by coincidence, my brother had his absolute best to find a good affordable Airbnb with a nice view.

So I definitely definitely props to him also.

I think it kind of helps that we're not in the main city of this island.

The main city is called Fundacao.

We're in a smaller one pretty far from it also.

So I think that also helps with the price.

It's not as pricey as one would think.

So what are the ocean?

What are the goals?

Right.

What are the goals for this trip?

The first goal and the second main reason why we came here.

Other than that we were bored as hell, is to practice our Portuguese.

Me and my brother and my sister all want to practice our Portuguese as much as possible, especially to kind of get used to people speaking the european accent of Portuguese because we all speak the Brazilian version to practice my Portuguese.

I also brought with me 30 of these Brazilian fairy tale books for Children.

So every single day starting from today I'm going to pick one and you know always just like read it, Mark some words that I didn't know.

Also there's this one thing that I wanted to tell you guys.
