Eggs - not only are they excellent at protecting baby chickens before they're born, but those oval-shaped marvels are also traditionally linked with Easter -- and I can think of no better time than now to teach you 5 egg-related idioms.

We often give these to friends and family to celebrate Easter, and sometimes they have little goodies inside.

In fact, we can use the proverb: "don't put all your eggs in one basket" to advise someone against risking everything on one outcome or result.

And it's not just eggs we associate with Easter.

There are hot cross buns, baby chicks, and of course, the Easter Bunny.
