Right now we've just left the port in the Seychelles.

And as we got into deeper water, what we were doing was we just deployed the hydrophone.

So already we're beginning to collect data, and we use this hydrophone essentially as a listening device.

And we're making continuous recordings of, uh, citation so whales and dolphins along our transit.

What we are aiming to do is to examine biodiversity in this area and produce some data that the local communities and researchers can use across the Indian Ocean.

 Now, our expedition is part of the wider protect the oceans campaign, and the aim of that campaign is to push for a really strong global ocean treaty through legislation.
