Collecting donations and hosting fundraisers are a good way for local parents, businesses and other individuals to help educate the next generation. Online platforms such as Go Fund Me on Kickstarter are also options to raise money for schools and can be funded by people all over the world. Applying for government grants is another way to bring money back to schools. Having the students showcase their talents, such as band and musical theater not only helps the students by raising money, but also shows how important the arts are. This is valuable because the arts are usually the first casualty of budget cuts. By reaching out for help, teachers and students can overcome budget cuts and build a brighter future.
