Welcome to this beautiful forest.

There is cinnamon all around us hidden within the trees.

Cinnamon is a spice.

It's also a tree bark.

Once cinnamon trees grown tall,

their bark is softened water from rain or a sprinkler

and then, they're harvested.

Later, a skilled person called a peeler removes

the outer bark.

Sweet smelling inner bark is peeled off

and packed together.

The bark grows together when it dries

forming cinnamon quills.

They are placed high to dry

before they're sent to the factory.

Once powdered, they're put into jars

and later used in foods like oatmeal

and chicken soup,

or you will sprinkle on top of apples.
