My dad being a famous teacher and a well-known professional, knowing all the tour professionals,

it did put a little extra pressure on me.

In my younger years, high school and college, I felt like I was living up to his expectations or his reputation.

My dad always complimented me on the things that I did well and made me believe in myself.

He made it fun, you know.

He wanted it to be hard work and challenging, but he also made it fun.

And I think that's the reason I keep playing at 54 years old is because it's fun for me and I enjoy the challenge.

Whether it's a Ryder Cup team or Dru or any of these young kids,

they have to put in the time, they have to put in the hard work,

but they also have to be patient and have a positive attitude.

I had my dad to try to be like my entire life and a great role model and a Hall of Fame-r and a great dad.

Knowing where you want to be at the end and knowing the steps to get there has been great for me.

Golf is an individual game.

We might have a side bet but, ultimately, we're both in the tournament to win.

There's a little bit of bragging rights afterwards sometimes.
