  • Ultimately, we're both in the tournament to beat everybody in the field, including your son or your dad.

  • My dad being a famous teacher and a well-known professional, knowing all the tour professionals,

  • it did put a little extra pressure on me.

  • My dad always complimented me on the things that I did well and made me believe in myself.

  • He wanted it to be hard work and challenging, but he also made it fun.

  • And I think that's the reason I keep playing at 54 years old is because it's fun for me and I enjoy the challenge.

  • Whether it's a Ryder Cup team or Dru or any of these young kids,

  • they have to put in the time, they have to put in the hard work,

  • but they also have to be patient and have a positive attitude.

  • I had my dad to try to be like my entire life and a great role model and a Hall of Fame-r and a great dad.

  • Knowing where you want to be at the end and knowing the steps to get there has been great for me.

  • Golf is an individual game.

  • We might have a side bet but, ultimately, we're both in the tournament to win.

  • There's a little bit of bragging rights afterwards sometimes.
