C Let's let's look at the Packers for a minute here because people are talking about them like they're right back where they need to be.

This is a team that has won back to back games against the very badly banged up San Francisco 40 Niners and then just barely beat Jacksonville a week ago.

As you watch Green Bay play right now, do they look like a team amongst the NFC powerhouses that could make a deep run to the Super Bowl this year?

No, to me, the Green Bay Packers are and and also ran.

Would think that there there were a good team will talk about them in the off season to see what they could do to take that next step.

But this team doesn't win the championship.

Now they're missing some of their corners.

They still continue to get ran through as we saw the Jacksonville Jaguars and James Robinson, and they're so heavenly reliant on Davante Adams to make plays offensively.

I just don't believe that this team has enough and you talked about it in the offseason.

They need to doom or they need to ADM or Bart.

Everyone came on this show and say, You know what?

They have to get another piece before the trade deadline and they did nothing.

With the people in the locker room, we can win and they're wrong.

And sometimes when you're wrong, you waste the great career of one of the all time great quarterbacks in this league.

And that's what we're watching with the Green Bay Packers.

They will be good enough to be a factor, but they will be sitting at home watching the Super Bowl with us because they won't have what it takes to make it there.

I'm so glad you said that, because it's exactly I think it is exactly right.

To quote the great Danny Green, the Packers are who we thought they were.

They were someone who needed to add someone in the draft, the help and they didn't and they needed to add someone at the trade deadline, and they didn't.

And so they will be right where they were last year.

And if it's me, I'm frustrated with that.

Well, the definition of insanity is doing the same thing twice and expecting a different result.

And the problem was, it wasn't that they needed another receive.

We were fine to live with that because it looked like Lazar was becoming a great number to the fact that they can't stop the run.

That opportunity to make a trade for Avery Williamson.

The Pittsburgh Steelers thought that they needed somebody at that position they decided not to.

And then what's gonna happen is where you just take the San Francisco 40 Niners and their dominant run game away last year and how they dominated the Packers in the playoffs.

And you just insert the Saints or you just insert the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The fact that Aaron Rodgers is gonna be on the bench and on the sideline most of the game trying to wait to get on the field to try and make it play.

I think that they could right the ship there, the 10th ranked, run stopping defense at this point.

So there's 22 teams that are worse, that stopping the run there in the top 10.

So if they could get a couple pieces back and get healthy, they could protect Aaron Rodgers.

When you have a guy like Aaron Rodgers, you have a chance.

So if you have a chance every single year, you're gonna We're all talking about Seattle, none of the 32nd ranked defense.

So if you could get the defense there in the middle of the pack right now, if they could jump, maybe a few teams, five teams and get into the playoffs and and make a run, I think that they have a chance.

Because Aaron Rodgers got a final thought.

I appreciate what Rob is saying in that comparison to Seattle, but look at what Russell Wilson has in terms of weapons way saw it on display last night.

I think we're always gonna look back on this, that this is the season that the Green Bay Packers took full advantage of Aaron Rodgers.

Uh, you know, making lemonade out of lemons.

But eventually it's gonna go sour and not work out.
