  • First, wash your hands, break digestive biscuits into pieces, then bash them with a rolling pin to make fine crumbs.

  • Ask a grown up to melt unsalted butter for you on when it's slightly called, carefully pour it over the biscuit crumbs and mix it.

  • Mix it, mix it.

  • You tip the buttery biscuit bass onto baking paper in a cake tin.

  • Press the crumbly mixture down with the back of a spoon to flatten it on.

  • Pop the tin into the fridge, where it will turn nice and hard.

  • Poor warm water over chopped dates.

  • Push the dates into the water and leave them to soak Paul Whipping cream into a jar with a lid screwed on tightly and give it a big shake until the cream is thick.

  • Use a fork to mash the soaked dates into a paste.

  • When the biscuit base has gone hard in the fridge, tip it out off the cake tin.

  • Peel off the baking paper and put it on a plate.

  • Spread the date paste all over the base.

  • Peel bananas on carefully cut them into pieces.

  • Put the pieces on top of your date mixture.

  • Spoon on the whipped cream and gently spread it out.

  • Place the last few pieces of banana on top and Sprinkle over some cocoa powder.

  • Delicious, then carefully cut it into pieces on it's ready to eat.
