  • Just 30 minutes on the train from Tokyo lands you in this hugely varied metropolis where traditional houses and strolling paths meet majestic city views on the largest Chinatown in Japan.

  • My name is Matt Evans, staff writer for Japan guy dot com, and today I'll be reporting on some of the best attractions you confined on a one day trip to Yokohama.

  • Here's the plan will start our journey in the early morning from Yokohama Station, taking the Negus she line to Negus.

  • She station from here will take a local bus on a short walk to our first stop of the day that sank.

  • A and garden will then jump on a city bus to the Chinatown area for some tasty street food and from there make our way to the urban center of Minato Mirai for a beautiful view of Tokyo Bay area.

  • So join us as we explore Japan's second largest city and all it has to offer.

  • After a short journey from Yokohama to Negishi Station, we continue for a few stops on a local bus getting off.

  • We walked the last 10 minutes to sank A.

  • After paying our entrance fee, we head inside for a stroll through this beautiful landscape card.

  • This is San K and made in 1906 by a wealthy silk trader called Hara Tommy Taro.

  • Around me, you can see a whole series of beautiful traditional buildings pagodas, tea rooms, temple buildings.

  • Now what's interesting about these is that almost all of them are older than the park itself.

  • Para bought these from temples and villas all around the country and brought them here piece by piece, putting them back together again, sometimes with small changes made by heart himself.

  • A 35 minute bus ride brings us to the entrance of Yokohama's famous Chinatown or took a guy in Japanese Chinese community here began with the opening of Yokohama Port in 18 59 when traders from China were allowed to settle Aziz long as they remained in this area.

  • Today, it's a famous sightseeing and dining spot for tourists on the town boast of vast variation of both street food on different types of Chinese cuisines.

  • Okay, so for our last off of the day, we hear it the landmark tower, which is the second tallest skyscraper in Japan.

  • So let's head on up to the top and check out the way Thieve view from up here is amazing.

  • From up here on this observation deck, we can see a beautiful panorama of the day.

  • We can see local landmarks like the Yokohama Stadium over that way is on.

  • Look, we can even see Mount Fuji, and without visit to the landmark tower coming to an end, so does our one day trip in Yokohama.
