So today we came up our river road, all the way up to the Tokyo Aqua Line

Which goes under the bay and comes up right in the middle of the bay

This amazing place that looks like a ship and it has all kinds of food and awesome views of the city

And then we're going to keep going on the way to Chiba!

The wind is blowing me off!

We're heading to the beach in Chiba for a special 3 day, 2 night camping excursion with our friends.

Tokyo is hot in the summer, with temperatures above 35 degrees, so there's going to be lots of barbecue, swimming and fun!

We went in over here. We went down, through the tunnel.

See? We kept going and came up and now we're right here.

And then we still have this big part of the bridge to do before we go over to Chiba.

This Family Mart is really well stocked. This is awesome.

Becca, you're eating in the middle of the ocean! Oh my goodness!

Alright guys, we're about to head into Chiba here.

What? Is Chiba the place we're going to stay?

Well, Chiba is like the state, right? Chiba-ken.

Here's the ocean! We're only a couple minutes away from our camping spot.

As soon as we were done with setting up camp, we were hot and ready to check out the main attraction of the campground, which is the nearby beach.

Here we go, our tents are setup.

We're heading down to the beach!

And then I went all the way to the bottom and it was pitch black!

So camping is a lot of fun, but it's also a ton of work.

When you're getting ready to tear everything down, there's a lot to pick up, there's a lot to clean.

And then there's a lot to wash when you get home too.

Well, our tent is all down,

And the kids are cooling off by the fan, waiting for it to rotate over to them.

We'll enjoy a little bit of time at the beach after we're all picked up.
