  • This performance is so good.

  • I can't wait for you all to see it live

  • because I saw a tape of it.

  • It was amazing.

  • Thank you.

  • And we've met before because you were part of a Gap campaign

  • that I did.

  • Yes.

  • And we spoke, I think, during that day.

  • Yes, I remember we had a conversation about how

  • we should b-boys and b-girls just breakers so that there's

  • no gender separation from that.

  • Yeah, that was the last time I've seen you

  • and it's been a while.

  • Yeah.

  • So how did you get involved in this performance?

  • What happened was, D-trix is the creator of this performance.

  • And I first met him at a battle a long time ago

  • when I was really little.

  • And then, I worked with him on a dance show,

  • and I got to know him more.

  • And he asked me to perform this piece,

  • and I was so down for the message

  • that he was saying that it's about.

  • So once he pitched the idea to me, I was like, yeah,

  • I'm down to perform this.

  • So has social media--

  • How do you feel about it?

  • Do you feel pressure from it at your age?

  • I think, for me and honestly anyone my age, especially

  • girls my age, it's easy for us to feel like--

  • Once we get on social media, we feel

  • like we need to compare ourselves to the people

  • that we're seeing, whether it's pictures of other girls

  • or videos of people who have skill sets that we may not

  • have.

  • And so for me, I always try to remind myself to fully accept

  • myself for who I am and know that I don't need to change

  • to feel like I need to be accepted and loved,

  • and know that I can love myself for who I am,

  • and that I have people who really love me around me.

  • Let me tell you something.

  • There are a lot of adults who still haven't

  • gotten that message yet.

  • It's really, really hard.

  • And social media is really difficult.

  • So that's why this message is so, so important.

  • And I'm so excited you're here.

  • So you're going to perform for us?

  • Yes.

  • All right.

  • Head on over.

  • Thank you.

  • All right, Logan.

  • [CLAPPING]

  • [MUSIC - JESSIE J, "WHO YOU ARE"]

  • I stare at my reflection in the mirror.

  • Why am I doing this to myself?

  • I've nearly left the real me on the shelf.

  • No, no, no, no, no.

  • Don't lose who you are, in the blur of the stars.

  • Seeing is deceiving, dreaming is believing.

  • With a the smile, that's my own.

  • That's my own.

  • No, no, no, no, no, no, no.

  • Don't lose who you are, in the blur of the stars.

  • Seeing is deceiving, dreaming is believing.

  • It's OK not to be OK.

  • Sometimes it's hard to follow your heart.

  • But tears don't mean you're losing, everybody's bruising.

  • Just be true to who you are.

  • Oh yeah.

  • [CLAPPING]

  • You're amazing.

  • Thank you, Logan.

  • We'll be right back.

This performance is so good.
