hi everyone Jennifer from Tarle speech with your two
-
Tuesday Christmas edition along with my partner Claire um an elf um I think you saw our like turkey
-
thing on Thanksgiving so now let's jump into the lesson so for
-
today we have two words for you rain and rein rain is the precipitation that
-
falls out of the sky and rein is what you put on a horse to pull it back you
-
might also hear this at work when people say I want to rein someone in we kind of
-
pull them back with the reins so to say these words correctly you're going to
-
start with an R sound er to do this think of square tense lips the tip of
-
your tongue is either going to be down or rolled back just do not touch your
-
teeth and do not let the tip of your tongue move er then move to the long
-
vowel a and you're going to do this by opening your mouth wide and then moving
-
to a smile a a and you can see my a mouth is in a wide circle and that
-
allows my tongue to get low in the mouth to start that vowel and then it ends
-
behind the top front teeth flat in the mouth then we're gonna end with the n
-
nnnn and to do this you are going to touch the tip of your tongue to the back
-
of your top front teeth and the air will come out of your nose let's give those
-
words a try rain rain rain and now for a sentence the it was dark scary night
-
and it was Christmas and rain the rain like two sentence of rain the rain
-
pulled the rein so the rein deers went back give it a try I know people are
-
going to notice the difference we just want to wish you all a Merry Christmas
-
and one more thing yes um I was Rudolph one year yes check out that video
-

-
much everyone Merry Christmas
