  • - There.

  • Hey everybody, Telly Monster here.

  • As you can plainly see, I'm here at home.

  • I've made myself a little fort.

  • It's where I go when I need alone time.

  • My mom is nearby in case I get scared

  • and need a hug.

  • You there, Mom?

  • - [Mom] Right here, honey.

  • You need anything?

  • - Uh, no thanks.

  • Hey, do we have anymore batteries?

  • - [Mom] Yeah, plenty.

  • You need one?

  • - Mm, no, no, I'm still good.

  • - [Mom] You hungry yet?

  • - Getting there.

  • I'm making a movie for my friends.

  • They're also at home.

  • - [Mom] Say hi to them for me.

  • - My mom says hi.

  • I'm here under the covers because I feel comfortable here.

  • And safe.

  • You know, you can make your own fort.

  • Maybe we could call them com-forts.

  • (laughs)

  • It could be that favorite comfortable old chair of yours,

  • or that space between the couch and the wall,

  • or just an upside-down chair.

  • All you need is a blanket, couple of pillows,

  • flashlight here, and maybe a snack, and you're all set.

  • You know, sometimes my mom makes the best fort.

  • She'll sit there on the couch, hold out her arms,

  • and say, come into my office.

  • That's a time we can talk about anything.

  • Or nothing.

  • Just us.

  • (sighs)

  • Hey Mom, do we have any tomato soup?

  • - [Mom] Sure do.

  • Come on out and we'll make it together.

  • - All right!

  • (laughs)

  • Hey everybody, it'll be okay.

  • And everything's a little better after some tomato soup.

  • See ya.

  • (laughs)

  • Man, is it bright out here!

  • (upbeat music)
