  • But you know, this is not a recipe that I have already done, so I probably should The first thing I did we are making Let's start from the very beginning.

  • Hey, kids, today we're making melting moments.

  • So in this bowl, I added one cup of flour, 1/2 cup of corn starch and 1/2 a cup of powdered sugar on.

  • I just looked fat in.

  • And here I have 3/4 cup of butter that's been softened on dhe, one teaspoon of vanilla, and I'm gonna continue blending that to make sure that vanilla gets in there and I'm gonna add the dry to the wet.

  • What with that?

  • After that, splendid.

  • I am going to put that into the refrigerator too cool for one hour.

  • Thing about this is that it makes a small batch.

  • It's about 15 cookies, maybe a little bit more so into the refrigerator after I cover it up one hour, like filming on the fly.

  • Now you do one of two things you can make sure that you have enough flour on your palms.

  • Make a one inch round and they make a little hole in each one.

  • I'm gonna use my cookies, Cooper, because you know, I like them all uniform.

  • And then I'll show you what we're gonna do in that hole or as we call it in Hawaii Puka.

  • I'm gonna go ahead and flower my hands and shape them, because that's how I remember them from my childhood.

  • As you can tell from the cookie scooper, they to come out a little rough, you know, because they have that little gadget hee thinking that is on their soul.

  • Now you can fill the little indents with anything us.

  • When I was a kid, I always used to go through trying to find the ones with the chocolate Jimmies.

  • I found these beautiful Jimmy's in Paris, and I figured I probably should use them.

  • I don't know if you know these things ever die, but I certainly don't want Thio find out the hard way.

  • That's, you know, that they have past their expiration date.

  • But you can put all kinds of different things in here.

  • You can put in a little sugar Sprinkle you could put in.

  • Um, sometimes Mom used to put in, you know, those little candy Cherries.

  • Those were always fun to have.

  • So just play around with the stuff that's on the inside here.

  • Now, you know, when you make the little book of there, you don't want to go too deep because you don't want it to go through the cooking.

  • Okay.

  • So, intimately, 3 50 degree oven.

  • This is gonna go in for 15 to 20 minutes on.

  • They're not gonna get extremely brown.

  • Um, they're gonna They're gonna, you know, maybe get to like a very light golden brown realized.

  • I flubbed.

  • These are the mill moments, not the jeweled broach.

  • So those were supposed to be compressed a little, so I worked.

  • Okay, but when those come out, they're gonna go in powdered sugar.

  • I ja ja, I I Yeah, because I have so much going on and I had not pre plans doing this thes are beautiful.

  • While they're still warm.

  • You want to get them into the powdered sugar and then put them on top of your cookie sheet to continue cooling off.

  • So there you go, melting moments with some added stuff that should have been on a jeweled broach cookie that you will be seen separately, Enjoy.
