Hi, I'm Chloe Grace Moretz and I'd like to talk to you about bullying.
I've experienced first hand the harmful affects of bullying in my own family. I have four
brothers, 2 are straight and 2 are gay. As a kid I watched my gay brothers be constantly
bullied until they understood how to stand up against the harassment.
No one deserves to be singled out and treated badly simply for being different.
When it comes to bullies, I always stand up to them -- especially when it comes to my family. I hope you will too.
STOMP Out Bullying is the national leading anti-bullying organization for kids and teens
in the U.S. It has an initiative that empowers students to end bullying.
The initiative is Blue Shirt Day World Day of Bullying Prevention. On the first Monday
of every October, I'm asking you to join me in wearing a blue shirt in solidarity and
make that the day that bullying prevention is heard around the world.
This global initiative brings awareness and educates the public and it gives kids and
teens a chance to make a difference.
Please take this simple call to action! Everyone can unite to stop this serious issue.
STAND UP against bullying: It's up to all of us!
I hope you'll help me spread the word. Let's GO BLUE together to help STOMP Out Bullying!
