There's something magical about being a member of such a huge group of people.

I've only heard on been taught with the what it's like to be in a professional orchestra, and I'm just so excited to actually get to feel that I decided to pursue a career in orchestra because I love playing with other musicians.

That's the best feeling in the world to share wonderful music with your colleagues with your talented friends.

Mainly, I'm just making sure that trumpet when I get there, I don't want to get there and not be able to play.

I've been practicing four and 1/2 hours a day of nothing but page turning, which my playing has really suffered.

But New York Philharmonic members shouldn't have to wait for that page, so I'm definitely prepared.

What about you?

Well, I haven't been preparing it all.

My hope is to gain perspective of what it's like to be in the top tier orchestra and what it takes to get to that level.

I think for classical orchestras, Thio maintain their existence, and their popularity in today's world is to find more ways to engage their audience.

Many people are asking the question.

Is classical music even important or relevant in today's world?

And I would have to answer the question by saying that for for the orchestra's to keep up for us to do what it takes to survive, it is vitally important that we take charge and responsibility for outreach.

I think it all starts with community from the top, and then that goes to the musicians.

And then, as they go out in the community way, have to have faith that they're gonna have a presence and they're really going to be committed two to sharing this great music with other people, and I think it's gonna be infectious.

All in all, I can't wait for this experience.

It's just such a rush.

Every time I play with orchestra, I'm looking really forward to the program.
