  • Today we are making a pot roast in our power pressure cooker Excel.

  • See, there's a right cup on dhe, a rice school as well as a come vegetable steamer.

  • So there's all these little added bonuses, and not only that, but included in there was something I was actually going to buy at the store the other day.

  • But before I can start dinner, I am going to have to pre treat this by running it through ah, cycle and, you know, and cleaning it and what not.

  • Now that I have my pressure cooker prepped, I am not going to start prepping the vegetables for the pot roast that I am preparing tonight, and that is the re close of garlic that has been peeled and commenced, which I have already done.

  • And now I'm working on my one celery that we're gonna cut into small pieces.

  • Now, the carrot is supposed to be cut into three inch pieces, but I think I'm gonna make them a little more, um, manageable.

  • And then the onion itself is gonna be peeled and thinly sliced.

  • So I'm just gonna take care of just really very thinly flexing it.

  • Which works really well, which is beautiful new, more chef names that I was sent there.

  • Ceramic nines.

  • And so they're incredibly sharp and went out into the yard and I picked my sprig of rosemary.

  • And, um, I always trim and pick my my believe trees.

  • So I have a leaf setting there, the little red potatoes and nothing really has to be done with those.

  • This is three inch pieces, But I'm gonna do it like that, I think.

  • Let me get being, um, pressure cooker.

  • And we're gonna prep the meat first by Browning.

  • Yet by using one of the settings on there, which I think is kind of interesting.

  • And then we're gonna prep the veggies ahead of time as well, So I'll be back.

  • It's so I'm not sure that that recorded, but I put two tablespoons in on I set the setting on my power pressure cooker Excel to chicken meat as you can hear it starting to sizzle.

  • I'm gonna bring that up both side.

  • I'm gonna put a little bit of seasoning on here.

  • Amazingly, that gets really hot.

  • Really?

  • I'm quite surprised.

  • All right.

  • Going in for the second side.

  • I think that dog is good enough.

  • And so now we're gonna put this on the side on.

  • I am going to add in all of being vegetables.

  • Okay, so all the vegetable go in and we're gonna let them go for about 2 to 3 minutes.

  • I see a rogue potato or two here.

  • I'm gonna add in a tablespoon of tomato paste that for about a minute Now it's time to put in our Baileys and the sprig of rosemary.

  • One and 1/3 cup of beef broth.

  • 1/4 cup of red wine.

  • I am using the, um, Slavic red wine from lane awesomeness.

  • So now what I'm gonna do is I'm going to what stays?

  • We have to put the star of the show back in back.

  • We're putting the mediums place you right on top.

  • And you see, that's the fill line right there.

  • So we're coming in just under line.

  • I'm going to place the lid on, lock the lid, and I'm gonna make sure that being, um, power pressure valve is closed.

  • So that's over to that space.

  • I'm gonna press the cancel button on dhe.

  • Then I'm going to reset it by hitting the chicken meat button mode.

  • And I'm going thio time adjusted to 20 five minutes.

  • Okay, so I found it.

  • It was the time adjustment, but him?

  • That's right.

  • You can't see it because of lighting in here, But it's right there.

  • And I switched it to 25.

  • So we're gonna have dinner finished in 25 minutes on entire pot roast people.

  • Incredible.

  • Right?

  • I just finished so I can switch this over true pressure open, and it is going to make a lot of noise for a long time.

  • So I'll just have to be very careful when you do that, because this get out.

  • All right, so all the pressure is gone.

  • And being the knee I heard pop so we can go ahead and open it at this point in time.

  • Still kind of scared about this because it does still release pressure.

  • But look at that.
