  • Hey, kids, today we're gonna be making banana cream pie bars U two's best for creative things.

  • It's cooking and crap.

  • Hey, kids, we're gonna start with my regular crust and not the crossed that is part of this recipe.

  • Just because mine seems to be a non fail very good crust that never seems to go soggy.

  • So 3/4 cup or one and 1/2 blocks of butter and 1/2 cup off brown sugar and we're going to beat this once I put again my, um, my mixer and we're gonna get it nice and fluffy.

  • I've preheated my oven to 3 75 degrees.

  • And in there I have a cup of chopped nuts.

  • Any nuts that you prefer, we're gonna mix in this one and 1/2 cups of flour.

  • And when those nuts are done, well, adults and as well, I find that, um, the nuts are always so much better tasting.

  • When you roast them for five minutes or so, it releases all those beautiful oils and flavors and what not?

  • And believe me, it will make your dish tastes a lot.

  • Never.

  • And then I'm gonna let them cool down.

  • Just a tiny bet, You know, just so that it doesn't melt the butter.

  • And what I'm gonna do then is folded in with my spatula and then put it into a buttered nine by 13.

  • And make that four, um, 10 minutes or until the top is nice and brown.

  • This is a, um, a dish that or our dessert that my father had asked for and he passed before I could do his request.

  • And so I haven't been able to really celebrate Father's Day, like doing any videos on dhe.

  • Tomorrow is his birthday, so on.

  • And you won't see this for until after his birthday.

  • But, um, we are getting together just because my knees happens to actually go down there.

  • And we thought down here and we thought getting together would be something really nice to be together on his birthday.

  • He would have been it.

  • 81 Desperate day, past two years into the oven for 10 minutes.

  • We're gonna allow that to cool off very nicely before we start mixing up the rest of this.

  • So the next part is to slice up three bananas and we are going to be wearing that onto the crust already saw.

  • The bananas are spread out, and we're gonna switch that off.

  • And I have two packets of I put in French vanilla.

  • It should be vanilla pudding, instant pudding.

  • And they are the 3.4 out size, right, So two of those and three cups of milk, and then we're gonna whip this up.

  • So let me bring you back, take two cups of the putting, and we're gonna spread this over the bananas.

  • Then we're gonna add in some nice extras that is spread.

  • We're gonna take one top of cool whip, and we're going to add that into the pudding mixture.

  • Mix that up, and then spread that layer over on top O b just clean, putting their cover it with the rest of this.

  • And then the final layer will be the remaining cool whip of the two containers of cool wet that way are using.

  • So I have, like, a whole container left that I'm just going to add on top of this.

  • All right, just spread it with the container of Cool Whip.

  • I'm trying to keep that yellow colored down.

  • I was getting all crazy, and it's cooked up a little of the yellow.

  • So there you go.

  • Banana cream pie bars from my dad would have been the day.
