  • All right, guys, We're gonna do a little bit of a work log here today.

  • So more things I want to do with shop preparing for vacation next week.

  • So we got a lot of videos to make to get us through that period where I won't be here.

  • But fun fact during that time and I'm gone, we're getting a big s a c but in the warehouse.

  • Finally, as we control the temperatures out here.

  • But today we're gonna start by trying to fix this plug and not die.

  • Ms.

  • Oh, man, There's nobody would play bore ships in a play on the computer.

  • Apparently, you haven't heard of World War Ships.

  • And yeah, you played on a computer.

  • Well, the warships of the free to play a strategy game where you take command of some of the most iconic war vessels from World War One and World War two vessels like the agent s hould U S s Missouri, or the ships that changed naval warfare forever.

  • The dreadnought class each ship is recreated using historical photos and three scans of the real vessel to ensure the most realistic detail possible.

  • So, real effect.

  • You'll swear you're on the ship itself.

  • But we don't know that the war is won in the sky.

  • So that's why World of Warships features a completely revamp carrier.

  • Placed out where you get to take control of squadrons of aircraft before me, bombing a torpedo runs to devastate your enemy.

  • In fact, new players can start devastating there any means by using our fur coat.

  • Play Langley 2019 to receive a free starter pack featuring the USS Langley aircraft carrier 302 blues.

  • One million credits in three days of premium time.

  • Now get out there and start putting some shells downrange, sailor.

  • Yeah, this is so much fun.

  • You can start having fun too, but downloading world of warships by using link in the description below.

  • Ah, so we've got two giant electrical panels here, which is kind of nice.

  • We've got a four way to 77.

  • We've got 1 22 away over here with lots and lots of empty, as you can see.

  • Look, way one open machine shop.

  • Okay, so the problem is this guy right here that is going right into this panel.

  • Only this right to plugs.

  • They're working.

  • And as you can see right now because we don't have the conduit and floods insult on this wall yet.

  • Way would have run everything off with contractors.

  • Cables mature, unfortunately, only rated to 15 which isn't terrible, but these are 20 circuits, so we could technically overworked cable and the extension cables are not gonna be good for over clocking and stuff like that.

  • So what I said I want to do eventually very soon, hopefully after get back from vacation as I wanna have.

  • Like, five or six dedicated 20 plugs on these, Walter.

  • Each one is its own breaker.

  • So that we could get the cleanest power possible for over.

  • Clark.

  • The problem with this is this plug this side.

  • This gang is not working, and I don't know why.

  • So I figured, How hard could it be for me to figure this one out, right?

  • Actually, it's not that hard at all, But what I do need to figure out is which breaker is this gang?

  • So that this this box here so that I can I will not die at the start of the final fight identity.

  • At least you got some constant additives, but four minutes in that's not a worthwhile death.

  • So we're already off to a great start, considering I do have circuit testers and stuff because I guess I used to work for an electrician and I forgot all that stuff at home.

  • But fortunately, we have eccentric over the light so I can see which breaker it is.

  • One we turn it off.

  • Now, if I were a betting man because this is on the right side of the panel, I'm gonna guess it's probably this 20 amp right here on the right side of the panel.

  • Yep.

  • So because the actual plugs mount to the box itself when I got these two screws, the plug should come out with it.

  • I like a wall checking your home where those mount to the box, and then the cover comes off and in no state mountains a visit here to work on and see what it's so so or they're not active at all.

  • I mean, there.

  • Is that why?

  • Why go through the efforts?

  • I've installed a ceiling fan that makes me a 35 electrical engineer just like one of them science people.

  • Never did I dream that would be on YouTube.

  • channel showing people have a backyard electrician's, which you should never d'oh.

  • You should never back.

  • You're an electrician's.

  • Or if you do this, use a tutorial that's not hearts.

  • Oh, yeah, do this at your own risk.

  • You take your own life in your hands.

  • I am not responsible.

  • Electrical really is easy.

  • If you understand how it works, it's when you don't.

  • Where's that bad things can happen, like how grounds and electrical safety.

  • But ground in skydiving could be that it's just like Okay, now you just shove it all back in there and hope nothing touches.

  • That's why you make sure there's nothing like you.

  • Make sure those air trim so they're all the way flushed down here.

  • There's no wires exposed, especially we haven't exposed ground wire like I've got here.

  • All right, if the second I flip the breaker didn't flip right back or Goto have position, they were good.

  • You have a light.

  • We're good.

  • Hey, I didn't do anything, but we're here for moral support, and you were standing close to the thing that I could have blown up, some seated out there watching.

  • It's just like Theo Guy that literally climbed like Transformer Pole.

  • So I mentioned that we need an electrician's come out because of permitting and all that sort of stuff, you know, because in a commercial space and all that obviously need a permit and a licence electrician's come out and do anything conduit Based on all that, I'd love to do it myself, like I said, but I'm not gonna do that because, yeah, I want that to be a legit.

  • But what and you to do is I am going to use the same type of cord or cable like you just saw me use for fixing.

  • That, which is same stuff I used over here on the set will show you that in a second to run power to hear, because basically, it's just gonna be an extension port.

  • We're gonna run it down along the wall.

  • We're probably gonna come right in between these two for my side inside.

  • I think I want over there less.

  • Well, see, we're gonna take it now with Gaff tape, just like this.

  • But they were gonna mount a big ass truck outside.

  • We're going now a power strip or something under here so that I have power running to my bench.

  • So when I'm doing things here on the extension cords running everywhere, but it will also be powerful enough.

  • So if I want to plug in something like work, which uses this gauge cable because it's a 1600 watt power supply, then we could do that.

  • Right now it's running through cable like this, which is not rated nearly assed toughest.

  • These cables are, and not only that when you start dealing with over clocking and we're doing like our over talking competitions and stuff.

  • Any time you lengthen the cable, you also increase the likelihood of dirty power that can cause instability issues.

  • So by using the higher rated cable, our gauge wire and stuff, we get cleaner wire.

  • And because solid for strength, like I talked about earlier, then we could get better clean power to the table as well as a long so we're gonna do now we're gonna go to our favorite place ever.

  • We spent so much time and money and they're starting nose on a first name basis.

  • Home Depot, not a sponsor, but they should be at this point.

  • I know I said I didn't want to a pegboard.

  • But do you know why people do peg boards because of cheap in the convenience?

  • We've got someone by Tuesday here to build support sport.

  • So it stands off the wall.

  • I have to be off the wall.

  • That can be flesh.

  • Otherwise you can't get the pegs to their.

  • We've also got some RG 40 r j 45 ends because we have Thio get network out here too, obviously.

  • And then we've got our ends.

  • I said Mom used to make an exception cord to bring over to this table.

  • And we've got this power strip will be mounting underneath the table so that when we do put systems up here, one way to do with the old studio which kind of sucked, actually used this board right here because we have this one extension cord that was taped down on the ground and they had these three plugs on the end.

  • But then this was on the floor and we had the cables drink everywhere and the kind of stuff.

  • So the idea here is that we have found under the end of the table way have, like, system appear on the monitor for showing something just put it all in right here and then it's just permanently wired.

  • I worry about that.

  • I don't plan on moving this table around rotating it stuff.

  • But if we do for some reason, obviously it will be able to unplug takedown.

  • But before we do any of this.

  • But the time we spent going to Home Depot first and then lows can all the solutions of like what fast track and gladiator and craftsman and all those other rail systems problem with like the Swiss rails, is they're good for hanging like brooms and shovels and ladders and things like that.

  • Peg boards obviously perfect for mounting all kinds of tools.

  • And I wanna have, like our most common step mounted on here.

  • Extension cord from the heat gun, all that sort of stuff.

  • And then the cart that's at the other studio silhouette to bring here.

  • That's gonna be my water cooling card on my water.

  • Cooling tools that I typically need are going to be in that.

  • And then I think we need it.

  • We have the school wired appears when we have to make custom stuff.

  • We have it all accessible, so it's both functional and a design.

  • So this is interior, great power wire.

  • Same thing you just saw me use a piece of to fix the plug over there.

  • So this is what's running through the walls of your home and usually Daisy Chain.

  • Six or seven plugs, sometimes more in your wall.

  • It's designed to carry more current, then like a regular extension cord.

  • So I'm gonna make an extension cord out of this.

  • We're doing that using thes guys right here so you can actually use these.

  • Also repair the afraid cables.

  • You may have things that air wearing out.

  • Like if you've got any free cable showing it all on any sort of plug, that's dangerous.

  • But you can use these ends to fix it.

  • We're going to be connecting our neutral because the fatter you sail on the U.

  • S.

  • Plug any way you have grounded plugs?

  • Obviously, that big one down there is the ground.

  • You've got the longer prawn in the shorter problem with.

  • That's the neutral in the nets, the power wire.

  • So we are going to be wiring it up so that the white wire goes here.

  • The black wire goes here and the copper wire or green wire, depending on your set up.

  • We'll go here so nicely about these two is instead of being the kind of script on the side, it has the whole, like, you just shove it in.

  • Old.

  • Yeah.

  • Are neutral here First we've got a Get this on there.

  • This is our crimp.

  • Here we go.

  • Just incident.

  • Nothing.

  • Dude, that thing's pretty cheap, right?

  • Yeah, that sounded so I almost lost.

  • You know, it's funny about these videos.

  • Is it?

  • How many other creatures out there Can you go?

  • Wow.

  • This guy can do a lot of cool shit.

  • Wow, this guy's stupid.

  • Doesn't really cool things, but he's really stupid.

  • All right, so on the surface, it might look like we don't get much done, J.

  • You built two stools and you fix a plug and you built an extension cord and you have a peg board on the wall.

  • Well, you'd be right.

  • That's all we got done today.

  • But it's something.

  • Um, we're just about to the point now where we can start truly doing builds again in here.

  • And I think the next one, the next project we're doing here is finally playing with that w 31 75 x, which is that?

  • 24 core 48 thread in video or in video and video.

  • Makes it please.

  • Now, until chip, we've had for a while with our Dominus motherboard play around with water cooling just to see what that many courses like.

  • Because when we got that chip, that was kind of monstrous.

  • But now we hear about a potential epic CPU.

  • That 64 course 128 threads force an adventure you like pixel by pixel squares, but just doing all the work.

  • So yeah, they will play around that.

  • And then, um yeah, I know what else?

  • We're going to use video stuff around here anyway.

  • Hey, we're gonna go now.

  • Guys, things are watching hanging out with us on this build log.

  • I know I said peg boards are overrated and everyone uses them.

  • But, I mean, this is a reason why everyone uses them.

  • There's a reason why we're gonna outline where the tools go on there, just like everyone does, too.

  • So you could say we're copying whoever else does that.

  • That's why it's a standard.

  • That's why you do it.

  • Because it works, Fleming.

  • All right, guys.

  • Thanks for watching.

  • And Seles?

  • We'll see in the next one.

  • I already apologized for the next one.

All right, guys, We're gonna do a little bit of a work log here today.
